Tank Dell was a 3rd round rookie who only caught 47 balls last year.

We probably need to slow down on the 3 #1s talk. Are these guys really elite talents or are they solid NFL players being elevated by a stud QB that defenses haven't been able to figure out yet? I didn't watch enough Texans football last year to have a strong opinion, but I'm skeptical Collins went from JAG to #1 and Dell went from 3rd round rookie to #1 receiver. I think Houston knows these guys probably overperformed a year ago and will need to adjust their offense to continue staying a step ahead of DCs around the league.

I don’t know what Nico did before Stroud but he looked legit last season. Same goes for Tank. I think they are legit. When a guy does what Stroud did it’s typically a combination of everyone…

I quoted you because of the statement you made trying to prop Dak up by saying "How many all-pros does Brissett have?" As if Dak has just been collecting All-Pros since he came into the league. I pointed out that it was 1 more than Brissett and it took him 9 years and facing the worst pass defense schedule in the league to accomplish a 2nd team all pro nod.

Or perhaps CJ Stroud had a sophmore slump. I'm still dissapointed the Cowboys didn't do more in the offseason though.

It's funny that the media hasn't been willing to discuss a possible sophomore jinx from teams now seeing film on Stroud......but with Brock Purdy, who has 1.5 seasons and a Super Bowl, these same media people say it's too early to give him due credit.

Hurts looked awful his first year and Lawrence was in a complete disaster with Urban Meyer.

CJ Stroud looked nothing like them. And he absolutely annihilated the Browns, who were rolling into the play-offs, doing it as a rookie.
