According to the players union it would require the management to say, "pretty please"

The only thing Dallas can do to get away from Dak "Money Pit" Prescott is let him play out the final year and hope to get a little something for their money..

I don't think it's an unrealistic scenario if the Cowboys wont meet his contract demands either.
It’s in what Jerry is thinking, if he thinks Daks the answer then it’s status quo. I think risk taking Jerry is dead and now we have what is comfortable Jerry. I don’t expect anything in the draft that rocks the boat unfortunately

No real athletes want to sit
No real professional athletes want to be paid less than they think they’re worth. No real professional athletes want to sign with a franchise that doesn’t start their best lineup. No head coach in the final year of his contract can be compelled to start anything less than his best lineup. Stop dreaming up ridiculous scenarios that have never happened in the history of the NFL and never will.

I don’t think they’re that calculated. I think they just didn’t feel like re-signing anyone and want to simplify things with rookie contracts replacing veterans. Plus with rookies there’s always the hope of growth.

Overshown, deuce, Tolbert, bass etc. they can sell the fans on growth from young guys.

But anyways if they start sending out vibes that they don’t want to re-sign dak. Wouldn’t he just openly ask to be traded? To just start fresh. He’s a good player in a bad situation. The fans don’t want to hear “well get em next time” anymore.

You get bombed off the field by our biggest rivals . That isn’t fun to watch y’all crumble. It’s sad and stressful.

So what if we get like a second and 5th round draft pick from someone? Raiders or Vikings it seems are possibilities. That pick turns into a first if he makes all pro or something.

The cowboys then start the year with trey lance and like a micheal penix or bo nix type to compete.

Does that seem like a more fun season for everyone? No more pressure for Dak. He gets paid by the raiders. The cowboys get a few picks to grow the roster out with young running backs receiver and tight ends
What are the tax rates for the Raiders or Vikings? That heavily influences the equation. Florida and Texas teams are enticing for that reason. Houston's not interested, obviously.

What makes anyone think Dallas is the answer for Dak?

Dallas has made no effort to improve this team.

Dak can get the same, if not more money somewhere else next year. Most likely with a team that is actually trying to win.

3rd string is typically scout team for most teams, are the Cowboys different?
You are correct, which is why it is very telling that he was not the scout team QB, it was Rush a majority of the time.

The only time it was Trance, was when we would play a team with a running QB.

Why trade the NFL MVP runner up?
