Trey Lance 0 games for the Cowboys, and 100% hate from Dak fans.
I think everyone wants him to be the starter this season. No one will ever know what he might be if he never plays in games that count. It’s time. Cut Dak. Let’s get started on the future.

What does it matter if they are not allowed to hit the QB. You must be a big fan of the under wear olympics
Bigger faster players need new rules.

Any and every team in 2020, would every and any team from 1980. Regardless of the rules.

Plus, this is the guy Stephen is waiting to see more of before making a decision on how big an offer to give to Dak (who they want to pay before CeeDee and Micah), so the whole thing teeters on Lance.
Was the most leverage Jerry could get, but if he wanted more, he would have drafted one, so long story short Jerry painted himself into such a corner with Daks contract, that Lance is about all the leverage Jerry has and that is a long shot at best.
Would be great to see Lance come out in pre-season and be the highlight hero, at that point we gain value on the investment.
If Lance can't showcase in pre-season play, then we have cement bricks and a deep river waiting for him.

How old are you? Are you under the age of 25? Because you are clueless as well
Regardless of your age you have no idea what you are talking about. Go look and see how much an OLine weighed in the 80's. They would get destroyed with today's DLineman and vice versa.

So now we are talking Offensive Line and Defensive Line. Could we circle back to the original argument which is the QB position and the rule changes tahat have benefited them

We paid the most for the QB who has done the least from that ‘21 draft.

Lance has reportedly shown little to nothing in practice so far in his time in Dallas.

We won’t have a 4th round pick in a draft where gurus are saying there will be plenty of 3rd round grades available in the 4th rd.

To put a cherry on top, we’re probably going to end up losing Lance for nothing after this season.

Shambolic front office.

Niners draft Round 4: 129th Overall - RB Isaac Guerendo, Louisville

We could have had a RB.

Everyone wants to see how Lance has been developing. If he struggles in the pre-season we stick with what we have until the next draft.

I never understood the Trey Lance trade. So for me it was a wasted pick

1. He's wasn't even the immediate backup to Dak. He was Rushes backup.

We really do not know what their goal in aquiring lance really is. A 4th round pick for a guy to be a backup for 2 years seems like a waste. His contract is up and I wouldn't pay him more than Rush who is 6-1 as a starter the last 2 years. And if you are Lance you probably don't want to take a cheap extension to be a backup anyway. I see this trade as the Cowboys gave up a 4th as a long shot this guy could maybe be a high end backup or really long shot a starting calibre QB. kinda of a wasted pick so far.
