Dude, you've lost it!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!! Lance won't beat out Rush or any other QB the Cowboys might sign going into the start of preseason. Lance was a WAY OVERPRICED draft pick of the 9ers who finally realized that the kid wasn't who they thought he was and found a wannabe GM who also overpaid to obtain the services of this WANNABE NFL QB who should have stayed in school instead of attempting to be something that he's not. Lance is an NFL BUST, heck this kid is no better than Ryan Leaf!

i will go with the consensus that this team will struggle as the foundation of my prediction

I believe this team still has the talent to win games. Playoffs should be a guarantee. In this watered down NFL. I do not believe they are hot garbage.

Having said that I believe they will struggle until Dak is replaced. There will be no more coddling from Dak's biggest fan, and that is saying something, Jerry. It is swim or sink for Dak but not for the Cowboys

Lance will eventually be given the reigns. He will salvage the season and the Cowboys will eek into the Playoffs and win a game or too and . . .

A Star will be born

I cannot wait for this season to start. It will be like a breath of fresh air

The Trey Lance hype train would’ve been out of control already if he was showing out in practice. To me, The radio silence on him confirms he is still awful.

We bet usernames. I told him not to worry about it. Guess I felt sorry for anyone whod make such a stupid bet.

Trey Lance was the luckiest NFL player when JJ came knocking with a 4th rd pick to obtain him. Had that not happened there vas a very good chance that TL would have ended up on some team's practice squad for the reminder of his career because his not good enough to be on a team's 53 man roster. He probably would have floated around the league for a couple of more years before he would have called it quits. But JJ gave him a lifeline because he thinks he can fix everything that is wrong with the kid's QB skills and in the long run it's not going to happen. Prescot is not the answer anymore in Dallas, but if these two actually competed for a starting job in the NFL, Prescot could beat this kid out using his left arm, that's how bad TL's game is.....................

Yeah Dak may not be the answer at QB as far as one who can win the Cowboys a Super Bowl. But Trey Lance hasn't done anything to prove yet to prove that he can be a consistent very good to elite starting QB in the NFL.

I think the praising and hyping off him has more to do with an "anyone but Dak" agenda that some Cowboys fans have. Rather than them having the sincere belief that he can be a long termed solid to very good QB for the Cowboys for the foreseeable future. I see some claiming that he still has the skills and ability to be a successful first round QB and to live up to the draft status of what he have seen the upper echelon NFL QBs who have been selected in the first round live up to.

If they really feel this way then they should be fine with Jerry not drafting a another first round QB to replace Dak. Even in the scenario of the Cowboys somehow landing in the top 3 draft picks.

Love the enthusiasm for Trey Lance, but the chances of Dak getting benched for poor play are slim to none. But I can see a scenario of Dak missing time due to injury. It's going to take some time for the OL to settle in.

But why even go there right now? Don't you want to see how Lance performs in training camp first?

Lol, no he shouldn't have been. He performed at an MVP level. It was an easy bet, anyone thinking Cooper Rush was a better option is delusional.

It would be equally foolish to bet on him this year, so that's a NO. I think Jerry is waiting to see what Lance can do in camp and preseason. If he performs we may have seen the last of Dak. Everyone will then see how flimsy a no trade clause really is.

What a wasted 4th round pick which we needed and could have been used on a young starting RB. Braelon Allen, Will Shipley, Rasheen Ali, Isaac Guerendo, Bucky Irving, Audric Esteme, Keilan Robinson, Isaiah Davis and Tyrone Tracy Jr were all there for the taking our traded away 24th pick in the 4th round.

Unbelievable!
