Our front office leaders are basically a marketing department, not roster builders. Whatever happens, they will brazenly look into cameras and yak on radio shows about how good their team will be. It’s marketing not top shelf roster building.

And because they are never accountable for their work, they are never under pressure to win NOW. What’s the big hurry? They know they will make truckloads of money win or lose.

I’ve never seen a sports front office more self satisfied with 4 wild card wins in three decades.

Sad part is they really believe that they are doing a good job.

I'm with Stephen on this. Henry is old and spent. But, on the other hand, signing g him would be classic Cowboys.

But then they went out and got Elliott who is even more washed and spent.

It was simply about the money. They are cheap as hell in FA.
