Trey talks about QB2 battle, and how he has learned over the past year. And how things are different between Dallas and SF.

"Lance has grown close with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and other players on the team as he gets settled into Dallas and settled into a shot at rewriting what his underperforming career has been to this point. With just two months sitting between now and Lance taking the field at training camp to begin that rewrite, he feels he's at the best he's been in his NFL career."

Sounds like Dak is taking him under his wings. This is what I am looking forward to the most in TC and the PS games.

Forget the pre season, let's see some work from him in Mandatory camps, and training camp, then see how he goes against other players to see where he's progressed. I think him using his legs at times will get fans really excited. Seeing him make plays on the run, making guys miss etc, Dak will be cheering for him on the sidelines, but may stay that way in time!!

No question but what Lance was raw in San Fran, but I think he'll get far more patience and opportunities to develop w/the Cowboys. At least, he sounds like he's making inroads to improve his game here. How much he's able to improve will mean a great deal for his future with the Cowboys. The fact that Dak sees fit to give him his time and help improve himself will help his game. How much so, remains to be seen. I wish him success.

Dak showing his leadership. Lance is lucky to have a good QB room to learn from.

Niners should have traded him to Minnesota. He would got some playing time last year and an opportunity to start this year.

He was a rookie. Of course he was raw.

But not for long.

Ask JimmyG about Lance.

Dak won’t save his job by backstabbing Lance.

You’ll take any QB over the one we have. You could care less whether they can play or not…Fact!
Is that supposed to be some kind of revelation?

Of course I would. Dak will forever be a loser on the field. Give me something fresh and new.

Also, a little pet peeve of mine. It’s “couldn’t care less” not “could care less”.
