Rush listed as the backup QB, Lance is 3

Did they get their info from the team, or is this more PFT crap?:popcorn:

Will Trey be active and they get him in a few plays like Hill gets in NO?
If he is listed as the emergency qb, then he can't have specific plays or make quick appearances.

Unless the Cowboys give up the status and loose an activated player.

Right that was what I meant, he would need to be on the active roster, and no QB listed as the emergency QB.

My thought is, they would not let me in to take a look.

At some point they will need to have him active.
Why do you say that? What will he be needed to do except run a few gadget plays or something?

Lance isn't ready to back up Dak yet, but the real question is will he be active and potentially get some plays? If they have wasted all this time working on his game, why on earth would you do so for him to not be active? Trade or keep, he needs to learn somehow

They can do several types of packages. RPO type plays. Especially inside the 10. Have Zeke in, so will Zeke run, or pass block, or block for Trey to run.
And just even at midfield have him in to keep the defense from knowing what will happen.

Lance should be the #2 on game day with Rush as the emergency QB. Lance is very atheltic and there are things they can do with him. Now if Dak is out for a game or two, then yes, at this point, Rush probably gives you the best chance at a W. To have Lance on the 53 and not use him in some capacity is silly.

Problem is he can't throw. BUT I'd rather him get some garbage time unless they are afraid to even put him in for that.

He did. He also threw 5 picks against players who aren’t in the league.
I am not going to say he can't throw due to that. I mean the kid threw 1 pick his entire college career, even though that was very brief. He tossed 3 in around 100 attempts in the pros so far. Kid needs playing time, you can't better at this game with practise alone.

This might not be the league for him. I think he missed a lot of developmental time and it’s hurting him in the pros. Cowboys can’t afford to wait for him to get better strictly from in game time. They need someone who’s less of a project.
