Do you think he'll be better than Witten? Same kind of deal. Witten was a great player, but didn't exactly exude charisma.Brady was a great player, but has a boring personality. He should quit now before everyone figures it out.
I don't know he's done a lot of good post career. I see his personality a lot more. I just don't know if it will translate into the booth.Brady was a great player, but has a boring personality. He should quit now before everyone figures it out.
Whitten was tongue tied and Emmitts bugaboo was diction, but I digress.Do you think he'll be better than Witten? Same kind of deal. Witten was a great player, but didn't exactly exude charisma.
Olsen was annoying. He tried to school the audience as if he was teaching football 101 and was a professor. Not sorry hes gone. Problem is, Brady COULD be more annoying. Not a huge fan of former players in the broadcast booth, for that reason. Audience needs to just have the game called, and tell us in layman's terms , not player/coach lingo. That is why I loved John Madden and Summerall.(former player but learned when to speak). They basically understood this and dumbed it down so the viewers can understand and be entertained. Aikman CAN be annoying when he tries too hard to be unbiased about Dallas, but is really good at explaining things as they happen in ways that are simple. This game IS simple other than the playbook itself. Its about who can out execute. Hopefully Brady is decent. JUST CALL THE GAME.Big fan of Brady, but not sure if he has the voice for this job. Olsen was good and shouldve stayed on the first broadcast team
Agree and once he declared that a certain player recently signed his son's jersey I knew any objectivity toward that player was gone.Olsen was annoying. yep, its borderline propaganda and spin but in sporting venues. All we all want is the game called and I don't care about anyone's social cause, standing, platform or what have you. Im watching sports for those few hours to unplug my brain for a while so I can tune out that other garbage. I hate getting certain agendas jammed down our throats whilst trying to relax/unwind. I love the mute button, its my friend. YES, ask the hard questions PLEASE DO YOUR JOBS AS SPORTS JOURNALISTS. Go Cowboys!! Beat them Brown-stains.Agree and once he declared that a certain player recently signed his son's jersey I knew any objectivity toward that player was gone.
Definitely not our fathers unbiased sports media anymore.....they coddle the players that they are supposed to be asking tough questions to......ergo fluff interviews
Wittens biggest battle was the English languageDo you think he'll be better than Witten? Same kind of deal. Witten was a great player, but didn't exactly exude charisma.
He has a $375 million contract. Why would he quit?Brady was a great player, but has a boring personality. He should quit now before everyone figures it out.
Doing good has nothing to do w/ personality.I don't know he's done a lot of good post career. I see his personality a lot more. I just don't know if it will translate into the booth.
They paid him $375 mil? For what, one the network exec's have a sleep problem? He has a $375 million contract. Why would he quit?
