We need more speed at wide receiver and running back

Chiefs won Super Bowl without elite speed at all in their playmakers. 49ers made Super Bowl without that.

Rams very much the same with their Super Bowl.
They all have more speed. Rice is faster than any our wr. Now they got worthy. All Detroit wr faster than ours. Eagles too. Niners Deebo and aiyuk faster

You can forget about speed for this RB Committee group. We’re going to need to rely on gadget plays, hijinks, and plowing the line for this RB group to even be productive.

as the season goes on I can see the receiver group getting better (more elusiveness, speed)

We really need better skill players on offense in general. Not having ferg for a while will be a noticeable drop off. The WRs are really dependent upon Lamb, and RBs look pretty ordinary.

If this offense stays relatively healthy this unit should be fine, but either way I have a feeling the cowboys are looking at trade options near the deadline.

You don't know what you are talking about.

-Ceedee Lamb...4.51
-Aiyuk...4.50
-Deebo Samuels...4.48
Brandin Cooks....4.33

agree but nothing we can do about it now, the season started

I know it’s early but goodness Deuce Vaughn is a mystery to me . They won’t use him. And I know people will say Royce Freeman was too much in the Elliott mold but since when did a North South runner with attitude not be an asset ?

As far as speed the one target he had Jalen Brooks had a nice reception . Target that man more often downfield . And Brandin Cooks is not slow . I hope the season doesn’t turn into a “Dak doesn’t have enough weapons “ year .

By the way 4 FG’s and a Turpin TD ( that man has speed ) ….offense left a lot on the dinner table not cashed in . Yes Cleveland at home and has above avg D . Hopefully Dak and co at home punch it in more often against the Saints .

Looking at these other contenders such as Detroit and Kansas City. They all have speed at wide receiver and running back. We have absolutely none. Needs to be addressed ASAP. Can’t win playoff with the lack of speed we have.
Totally agree. We don't really value speed. Especially at RB. Heck I don't think we value Running Backs. Unless it's a glaring issue, the FO will wait till the very last minute to address it.

We have speed at wide receiver if you count Turpin.
Which is iffy, though he has been productive per target

We've been lacking play makers for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't even compare to others

Independent of the names you did/didn't include on this list - Do you genuinely believe that Cooks runs a 4.3 right now?

Dallas' offense is painfully slow and lacks separators. It was as true yesterday as it was last year.
