After a big Halftime lead, toned it down and managed the offense to a turnover-free easy 33 - 17 victory.

He was excellent in the first half. The throws to CD and Cooks are both pre-snap wins and great throws. The throw to CD was a dime out in less than 2 seconds and the throw to Cooks is more just to space, but that's a long way for that ball to travel off the back foot.

Great in the first half and poor in the second. Against better teams we will need longer sustained drives to not allow a comeback. Defense always looks great for us until about week 10. Let’s hope we have proper depth this year to change that.

for sure the offense went in total conserv mode the 2nd half...Game 1 on the road first time they all played in a real game this year..i get why. They will have to do better when the other team can also score no doubt.

He had a very good first half, that first TD drive was a thing of beauty. He also did a nice job of getting the ball out quick to take the pressure off the Oline, and looked very comfortable on the move. It's nothing to panic about but the accuracy issues in the 2nd half will be something to keep an eye on moving forward.

I think the biggest factors were rust on both he and CD, CD was on his what 6th practice with the team by that game..if that? Those timing routes take a sec to sync.

Always possible, but those guys didn't look very rusty early on that game.

the completed passes early where deeper, they were missing the crosses and outs..to me thats timing being off. The fades and corner/posts looked fine

At halftime, the Browns trailed by 17, had just one first down and were being outgained 216-54.

the haters are trying to pretend we weren't playing ball control and preserving the lead in the second half. It's so ridiculously disingenuous.
