We’ve all heard the comment Brady said when asked if he’d go to Brooks again during this game. Basically, he said hell no.

Brooks can take this one of 2 ways.

1. Man I messed up and then the GOAT says that? Jeez, I must suck.
2. Ok Mr. Brady. You’re absolutely correct. If I was Dak, I wouldn’t throw to my stumbling *** either. But I’ll show you, and everyone else, and do my best to make sure that never happens again.

I’m hoping, and expecting, #2.

wow, didnt know he stated that. Now, that's huge coming from someone like him. Brady has seen it all.

Those words have to hit home, at some point.

Didn't he throw it to him on one of the first plays of the next drive?
I don't know if it was explicitly the next drive, but yes he went back to him pretty quick right after.

Brady is exaggerating about not going back to him - especially for this team - but the larger point is that it's difficult to have any confidence in a guy like that. Guys like Brice Butler and Kevin Ogletree were really good examples of players had talent to be productive but just not consistent enough to be trusted. I'm not sold Brooks has the raw talent of either one of them, tbh.

I'm pretty sure Brady didn't tolerate things like that. From what I've read, he wanted perfection from everybody on the offense.

He also had the benefit of playing with a ton of receiving talent over the years - there was always 3-4 legitimate options in the passing game. They didn't depend on guys like Brooks to actually catch passes - so when they didn't he could ignore them.

From the Cleveland game to the Saints game Brady was much better in the broadcast booth . He’s doing the Cowboys Ravens as well .
He was worlds better in game 2. In game 1 it almost seemed his voice was even off. Regardless, in the second game he was a lot more comfortable and added personal stories with some deeper analysis. Game 1 was pretty bad.

Yeah, so now Brooks better continue to prove he can be trusted. That pass to him immediatly after was an easy route and catch. Is that enough?
Naw he will probably drop another lol. I have no faith in this group I guess the hope is they will improve at some point.

It was a dumb comment as evidenced by him catching a pass the next drive. It’s the really real world… receivers trip and fall on occasion sometimes (gasp) leading to interceptions!

He sucked less. That's code for he still sucked.

That’s your sour opinion . The NFL needs fresh voices in the booth . His comment on Jalen Brooks was truthful based on his experience . You can’t get game experience from guys who’ve never played .
