If that is the case (which I'm not arguing it isn't), why not just cut him. why did we bring him on and keep him past training camp (sure not much has changed since then). That's the frustrating part of this, the coaching/FO makes decisions and then they completely ignore the players they bring in.

Maybe, maybe not .........maybe they are close to playing Cook. I have said I don't him and Cook both being active in the same games. If Cook is active that means Zeke will be inactive IMO. So it could be he's making a desperate attempt to remain active or being released.

He should not be receiving any redzone carries. Give them all to Dowdle or Luepke, two players that can do everything he can and more every single time they touch the ball.

Just being big and slow doesn't mean you should be touching the ball at the goal line.
