Zeke talked to coaches regarding the lack of red-zone opportunities

LOL!! Some of you would probably he fumble at the one, than score a TD. Too frikkin funny. If you get your feelings hurt, you're the one I'm talking about.

This could very happen IMO........is it a coincidence Sunday's game is the final one before bye week? Who knows, Zeke may be asking for his release if they are no going to give him more snaps
If I were Zeke, I would keep my mouth shut and collect ap paycheck....this was his last opportunity, he will not get resigned anywhere else.

I’d rather get Zeke off the roster, bring up Dalvin Cook, and use Luepke more.
I seriously doubt that Cook elevates the roster at all, but it would nice to at least test the investment. Like it or not, Rico is the star of this show this year...after that, it's a steep drop-off. I'd be awfully tempted to go old-school with Dowdle & Luepke, with a few designed runs for Lamb & Turpin.

Oh you know they would love that. The Complain over winning Crowd.

Serious question: do you two really think that Zeke is worth a darn at this point in his career?

He is one of our franchise all time greats no doubt, but it is exceedingly obvious he can hardly play anymore. Why would you give carries to a RB that brings nothing to the table that a combination of Dowdle and Luepke can clearly do better? It borders on malpractice.

Also, I don't think painting anyone that thinks that Zeke doesn't have any gas left in the tank as part of the "complain over winning" crowd makes any sense.

He should not be receiving any redzone carries. Give them all to Dowdle or Luepke, two players that can do everything he can and more every single time they touch the ball.

Just being big and slow doesn't mean you should be touching the ball at the goal line.
Well I don't know about that either. Both Dowdle and Leupke have goal line fumbles to their name. Give it to Lamb. He's our best RB anyways.

He feels he can contribute more.......I think he can too( in the red zone )

I’m dumbfounded he’s on our roster. I respect what Zeke did in his prior years here but having him on this roster as slow as he is now is just keeping a sentimental spot for him. Serious organizations don’t keep guys aro7nd for sentimental reasons.

The Zeke reunion was such a classic Cowboys move. Completely illogical and entirely driven by emotion.

I am shocked by this. Shocked.

Why go to the coaches when you can just go right to Jerry?

Anyone should have known this may happen and is why he should not have been brought back here in a diminished role.

I honestly and truthfully don’t dismiss that part of Jerry’s ego was happy that Zeke came back hat in hand to play cheaply after the Cabo thing.

Im not a Zeke hater like the noninjas crew here, but you never want to see a headline of a guy talking about his role after the team wins.

Ehh…sure in theory he’s perfect for red zone opps but there a whole lotta field before you get here, he’s really shown nothing and I don’t think he’s guaranteed the red zone success he thinks he is.

More for me is the fact that he’s talking to coaches about his role in a way he describes as dumb founded- he’s literally shown nothing this year yet
