But only Dak has defenders that bring up everyone else's shortcomings to excuse his

this is a thread about current top qbs in the NFL

I fail to see how Diggs being a soft defender had anything to do with why Dak isn't an upper echelon qb

Yup, you never hear anybody say

“the run game sucks because the defense don’t fear the pass”

Or

“The defense is constantly on the field because Dak turns the ball over too much and has too many 3 and outs”.

Dak is constantly being excused for being a scrub.
 
This is such a Cowboys thing to do. The team is not relevant and there top defenders leave Dak off their list. Edit, just heard the conversation the media as usual is making it bigger then what it is. It’s like a conversation about who is playing well at quarterback right now. Sadly there was no need to have Dak in that conversation. Except for Jalen Hurts I actually agree with them.

Yes. They should have lied

This doesn't just prove that they are honest....it shows how fractured the team is.

Dak is 9th in passing yards so they could have included him.....but they didnt

You don’t think Jalen Hurts should be on there with 15 total TDs and only 4 INTs?

Mahomes and Stafford are better quarterbacks than Hurts. He can’t throw the football. Best weapons in the league with average passing stats. They purposely took the ball out of his hands the last 3 games. I see you counting total touchdowns. Those 1 yard runs are tough. :rolleyes: You are a bigger joke than ever.

Are you insinuating Hurts is a better QB than Mahomes? Stats are not everything.

For instance, Quarterback A has a mediocre to bad defense. Trailing alot. Thus, said QB throws more than hands it off. Quarterback B has a good defense. Ahead or tied. They run more. Also, Quarterback A throws TD's at the one yard line. Quarterback B hands it off for TD's.

Someone may look at the stats and say QB A is obviously better. More passing yards and TD's. Anyone watching full games would laugh at that notion.

A CB gets 7 picks on the season. Someone would look at the stats and conclude they are great. Then, you watch the full games. Said CB gives up chunks of yards and can't cover. Allows many TD's. The picks are a byproduct of getting thrown at so many times. Law of averages say they will have an opportunity to get a pick here and there.

Dak is like 25th in qbr? Rightfully so he should be left off

The thread is about Micah and Diggs discussing top QBs. This is just a weird take at the end of the day all of them are struggling. Bringing up defenders on CZ is irrelevant and goofy. Who cares? You have eyes is Dak playing bad? You don’t need a fan or a hater to tell you if he is.

Everyone knows he’s playing poor.its about showing the effects a podcast has and its what Malik Hookee tried to educate him on but what Malik failed to realize is this team and organization isn’t serious about winning and they spend more time on podcast’s and social posts then then they do actually trying to win.

It’s all a direct correlation to the owner. Having fan tours while players are practicing and film studying is ridiculous.
