Good story. PFF didn't think much of his performance in coverage but he had the highest tackling grade on the team. Maybe he should be a safety?

He did decently staying with his receiver in coverage, but that receiver was Noah Brown. The one time they put Terry McLaurin on that side, Butler was one of the players he burned for the 86-yard TD catch.

I hope he can develop into a contributor because we need the depth, but I think he's getting a little more hype than his play as a corner deserved.

Oh it’s that Josh Butler?! I was rooting for this guy when I heard about his parents and brining his dogs to senior day. I’m happy for this young man! I hope he continues to succeed and succeed as a Cowboy!
