At this point in Dak's career, is he really ready for another change?

He's been used to doing things a certain way with MM being here, if/when a new coach comes here, he will ask Dak to try new things that Dak may not be comfortable with. You hear Dak come out in defense for MM, that to me could just be a cry for help to keep things the way they are. Please give your thoughts

If he is worth a darn. He can learn a new system. If he can't, then he is not worth a darn.

Time to get rid of this antiquated system. If it means a large personnel change, then do it. Which we will have a big turnover in players anyway.
Well, unless the 2 in charge resigns all their own players again. They ones that need to go.

I heard Broaddus say that Dak and MM relationship wasn't the best... so why did Dak re-sign here?

It's because no one else was giving him a max contract with that ankle...we got fleeced
He sure made it seem like he had us in control that someone else might have taken him

stuck in his ways jazz, I hope to see an overhaul too, but the overhaul we'd probably like to see is with a QB out in Colorado, I think he would force us to get better players around him guys that can let's say GET OPEN quickly, this damn offense would be so electric

If not, overhaul it with Dak and get some play makers, some guys that can put fear in defenses, and not cause the defense to have an easy day out there on the job covering curls etc

At this stage in his career I would doubt we see many major changes to the passing game. Most likely Jerry is going to hire a HC that agrees with the Dak friendly ideology they've been building and you wont see radical changes. Really though I don't think passing systems are that much different in the NFL from team to team these days as most offenses are more watered down than they used to be. I'd argue run styles differ a lot more than passing schemes anymore. Passing wise you're more likely to see tendencies and different ratios of personnel groups and route concepts. Teams are all running the same or very similar pass plays though.

It’s comical this team doesn’t seem to think anything through. No doubt the ridiculous decision to resign crap Prescott will bite them no matter what they do at HC.

Everything last year was geared towards keeping as much as 70 percent of the Kellen Moore system and supposedly minor tweaks by McCarthy to make up the rest.

It led to an MVP runnerup season while leading the NFL in passing TDs and top ranked scoring offense.

Fast forward a year later and the same QB and same HC/playcaller have suddenly become predictable and antiquated. It seems as though in one year's time the QB and HC both went from hero to zero in the performance of their jobs.

And yeah, Dak ain't never been the most cerebral of QBs to begin changing things up now. Tape shows his real time processing is extremely slow.

So the ultimate answer to the question is the offense could definitely use some changes especially incorporating an actual 2024 run game plan.
But the problem is its still gonna be executed by the same QB whether the offense changes or not.

Change the offense, QB AND HC.

And take it from there.
But they can't because of that 240 million dollar mistake.
And here they are. And thats where they'll stay.

Cowboys!

is it asking too much for some motion or something?????

Dak can only survive in a extreme dink and dunk offense. Why Jerry signed him?
Only Jerry can answer that foolishness.
because somehow those dink and dunks turned into 2nd place MVP votes

Man must be boring out there and why not after 29 years of the Jerry Circus?
Not a matter of being used to doing things a certain way as it is the only thing his talent base allows.......dink and dunk and hope the WR TE or HB takes it another 20 yards downfield.
The only exception is when we play DOG teams and the CB has fallen then maybe Daktrash has enough time to wind up that slow arm of his and let a 30-yarder fly as his arm is like Jello and inaccurate.
Most BORING Cowboy Offense in the past 29 years.....................ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Dak clearly doesn't give a **** so I don't think any kind of change affects him.
