We heard the Cowboys wanted to hire Zimmer as the team's HC last cycle, but the Vikings wouldn't let him interview. In my opinion, he is the leading candidate to replace MM. He also has ties with Sanders, as he work as an consultant under him. Could also see Sanders hired as the new HC with Zimmer staying on as his DC.

How many times does it have to be said? Deion has no interest in coaching in the NFL.
Because we really have no idea how true that is. Most people will naturally suggest they have no intentions of moving, but everything in life is conditional. If a team is in position to draft his son and wants him does that change things? Michael Irvin suggested Deion wouldnt hesitate to coach the Cowboys in that situation. If Deion did say he would be open to looking at NFL jobs after the season how would that effect his recruiting efforts and how many of his guys would jump into the transfer portal?

To me I think Deion is a better fit for the college game, but I think it would be a mistake to assume he has no interest in the NFL this early in the process.

I'm fine with any HC as long as we bring in a young creative OC that he lets call the plays.

I've given up on a young creative HC, so that's all we can hope for.

What does this even mean? He was HC of the Vikings at the time.

Somehow I suspect that if we wanted to hire Dan Campbell in a few weeks, Detroit wouldn't let him interview, either.
Little different, as the vikings were struggling at that time.

I'm thinking Kellen Moore ........Zimm stays as assistant head coach/DC

You are half right (IMO). Zimmer will return and head coach next season will be asked to work with him.
