Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan: “We’re in it to win these games. I think it means a lot to this team, not only this year, but for our future.”

Jones when asked about Mike McCarthy: “He’s doing a great job right now. There are a lot of teams who would have dysfunction with their season being over. Mike has kept the group together. Not surprising. … We’ll start worrying about the future when we’re through playing the Commanders on our last football game of the year.”

The problem is we had dysfunction when it mattered and we weren't decimated by injuries.

MM had done a great job with the odds against him, but what happens when we are mostly healthy and secure the #2 seed??

Good front offices ALWAYS think about the future.

Earlier in the season I was all about getting a high draft pick but tbh I'm proud of them for getting as many wins as possible. Who knows? I could die any day and then I wouldn't get to see who they drafted anyway so might as well enjoy seeing them win when they can.

To be clear though, I never wanted them to intentionally lose. I was just looking forward to them losing on their own and getting that top 5 pick because the season was lost.

It's pretty incredible how dumb and pathetic a lot of rich people are. They just don't get it and never will.
those that make their fortunes themselves are usually not like that
but a lot of their children act like entitled little POS's
