...then show some dedication and extend Mike McCarthy's contract today. You have been praising him in varying degrees for weeks. No one else can re-sign him. You have complete autonomy in this aspect--just like you did before the season even began.

I cannot wait for this season to end. The time between then and the day of the Super Bowl will either validate the atypical words of a narcissist or demonstrate what his words almost always mean once again.

Of course he is proud. He gets to stay comfortable in his role (where a coach won’t question him) and thinks he has something to sell to the gullible fans this offseason with the solid play down the stretch. It is perfect for him.

Don’t fall for the fans. He is counting he can fool you though.

Hmmm.....narcissits? Narcissists never ever ever own up to their own mistakes are even be willing to acknowledge them. It's everybody else fault. Are you listening Jerry?

We just returned to the Garrett days. Have a great season, fail spectacularly the next year, blame it on injuries, rinse and repeat. The only difference is McCarthy did at least put together back-to-back-to-back winning seasons ... that went nowhere.

Message to Jerry: “Can you tell how tired your team’s fans are of your three decades of playoff failure and overall mediocrity?“

And for those who didn't get why many of us here were cheering for losses....big losses....this is it. The guy is like the plague and he will sell next year despite missing the playoffs. So sick of this ride.

Thing is, cheering for wins or losses will not change Jerry Jones' mentality at all. It seems reasonable hitting him in the wallet and/or increasing his opportunities for drafting blue chip players is sound logic. It would be for most everyday, practical business people and even some of Jones' peers. However, applying reason, that will modify his particular mindset, is a task far less practical than many believe.
