Besides a coaching change

How do you stop the stupid penalties, especially the pre snap?

How can a player not know the snap count in the final game of the year? Dont they practice this?

Keep Guyton off the field?

He had like twice as many as the next guys

Just checked

Guyton cost the team an average of 6 yards a game. 14 penalties.

Ferguson had 7 for 2.6 yards per game

Guyton, 18 penalties, 14 accepted this guy is a bust, get him out of here!

Why are people shocked that Guyton is raw?

The guy was a known developmental prospect. He has some elite level traits, but he was always going to take time before he could reach his potential at the NFL level.

We can thank our genius GM once again for his roster construction and putting the kid and the team in a horrid position this season.

For fans to turn around and blast Guyton for simply being who he is as a player is short sighted. At least place the lion’s share of the blame on the man that deserves to wear it: Jerry Jones

The Head Coach has set on discipline all season and still can't handle the team's Red Zone.

The Defensive Coordinator is engaged with a lady who is young enough to be his Grand Daughter.

Get rid of them BOTH!

Stupid is as stupid does...still.

Partially agree, it was no secret that Guyton was a project from the start, but the issue with Guyton is that he played well below even project level. The guys performance this year was backup level at best and moving forward he probably needs to be viewed as a true mid round project type instead of a plug and play 1st rounder. Id certainly let him compete for a spot in 2025 as the physical tools are all there, but it would be a massive mistake to just hand him a starting role. Typically you want to at least see something that he does well consistently but I'm struggling to find it watching the tape. Penalty machine. Beat by power rusher. Beat by speed rushers. Beat by double moves. Power run game is decent. Zone runs are very hit and miss. Not sure if its on him or bad calls at the LOS but we also see frequent assignments that are missed on the left side. The guy had a decent run around the SF game where he showed some optimism but 90% of the season he was either unavailable or a liability.

Coaches need to be empowered to bench or discipline players. No excuse for pre snap penalties or all these motion penalties on offense.

Guyton has lots of work to do but left tackle is one of the hardest positions to play in the NFL. I would have loved to see what would have happened if we brought Tyron back and let Tyler develop behind him. One of the many mistakes the Joneses made this offseason. It appears that Guyton is healthy to end the season now is the time get him in the offseason program and develop him.

Yah I would put him in the offseason program and let him compete. See what you have going into next year.

I would seriously consider moving Smith to LT and looking at Guyton as a long term RT as Steele had a rough year as well.

To invest another 1st rounder in a LT seems like overkill when Smith may be able to the job and we can find a LG more easily than a LT.

Anyway lots of questions along the OL and I would look to replace Solari as well while things are in transition
