How will Dak adapt to a new offensive scheme?

Being in the same system for years, then Mike comes in and adds his small wrinkles to the offense. With a new play caller coming in, how will Dak adapt? Will having someone he's familiar with benefit him and this team. The offense is boring, and predictable, it needs a complete overhaul.

Dak likes to be in the shotgun formation often, will this continue? I saw the Rams QB and Hurts in the playoffs have success under center, could we get Dak back under center and get this play action game strong again?? We shall see (getting a running game helps) please give your thoughts

Scott Linehan. Kellen Moore. Brian Schottenheimer. Schottenheimer's out. Linehan is not coming back. And Jerry Jones is actively shopping for Moore to return. So, a 'new play caller' may actually end up being an old one Dak Prescott is already accustomed to. You can kinda gauge the answers to your questions for yourself based on what Moore has run before with Prescott if he returns to the team.

Like his first and second season, methodical, dink, and dunk control the game football that’s Prescott. That was Tom Brady. They changed that scheme because everybody wanted to be like Kansas City. You have to work it the way you build it.

And is that what we want to benefit Dak or the team. It's time for an overhaul Dak should be able at this point in his career to make changes. If he weren't seemingly in the mindset of a rookie where he doesn't like change then uhh!! Time to bring be plays and get rid of the hump we have in the red zone, and being consistent! Get back to running and scoring, not having Dak throw it over 30 times

How do you like the current system pros and cons

Who Jerry hires as HC could be very telling about Daks future with the team. A Kellen Moore is likely an indication that we are going to continue a Dak friendly approach for a lack of a better term. A Pete Carroll type may indicate a contract in length that aligns with Daks contract with the Cowboys, which sounds similar to what Jerry wanted with McCarthy. There are some candidates out there that could indicate Dak may be on the way out as well, despite the recent extension.

Like a confused person.

It will have to be dumbed down for him regardless of the coach.

On the bright side he’s never playing a full season again, so we’ll only have to watch his rudimentary offense half the year or the next few seasons until he retires.
Dumbed down I didn't want to go there, why does it have to be that way, he's not a rookie he's a vet he should be able to grasp things quicker

You can study anything for 10 years and still not fully grasp it.

Theres college QBs right now that could come in day 1 and give you more than Dak when it comes to understanding more than just the basics of offense.

Dak has never and will never be that kind of QB.

Mountain mountain uhhhhhhhh post of the day!!!!!! Damn you're on fire buddy

He won't adapt to a new scheme well. He has a limited skill set. A new scheme won't fix that. So he will need someone like Moore who will run something similar. Not hard to figure out.
It is hard to figure out, we can't get anyone else because our 10 year 60 million a year vet, never mind uhh:mad::mad::mad:

Dak wont care.......he's getting paid 60m regardless and is to busy building his new mansion and being a celeb to worry about playbooks. Sure, if he pulls a hammy he doesnt need to bother playing.

was it same system? we had Moore for a couple of years, although a lot of the same plays stayed.

welcome to NFL.

tell him to put down the blueprints, and pick up the blueprint to a Superbowl!!

Hard to say.

Dak no longer has the ability to use his legs like when he came into the league. But also tell me how the WR room looks? Do they lose Turpin and cooks?

cooks has to be gone, good guy, time to get younger, Turp I hate how they use him, they hype us up in the off season saying he's going to be used this and that way, and towards the end of the season that's when we see him
