Moore was an exceptional quarterback, and was raised by a coach. His offensive mindset is one of understanding how to get the most out of the quarterback position, and he knows how to design plays that help receivers find weak spots in the secondary.
Trey Lance has all of the tools to be a NFL quarterback, and he shows that he can and that he wants to be successful.
Paired with Moore the Trey Lance trade might become one of Jerry's better decisions. Moore could utilize all of Trey's skills and make him into the next great quarterback of the Cowboys.
It could be a great fit.

Noooooo, handsome lad.
Lance floundered under the excellent coaching staff. And here with OK coaching.
Why, I wonder to meself, would he flourish with KM?

Way to keep your head up. Anyone who watched Trey Lance against Washington can see the growth and talent

Don't listen to the disgruntled fans, Jerry made them miserable

Perhaps we could disagree with the poster without resorting to ridicule?
His was, I believe, a stating his hope for (a sudden) turnaround.
It should be up to us to use some logic to disprove his thesis without the negative pushback, me beloved ruffian.

The point is that no one can take the Cowboys head coach job saddled with Dak Prescott and succeed.
Trey Lance, however, opens possibilities that could make hiring Kellen Moore the perfect fit.
Lance has the tools, and with Moore's tutelage he could be what Kyle Shanahan envisioned when he drafted him.

Huh? What part of not wanting to run the ball did you NOT GET when Moore was OC????? I'd take Saleh or even Deion Sanders over Moore. At least you'd have some type of locker room culture...if nothing else.

Trey Lance is STILL a huge question mark. Shanahan's delusions of grandeur caused one of the biggest draft debacles in NFL history. Moore will NEVER run the ball enough...or be committed to running the ball enough to win a championship.

Huh? Do you actually watch football? Philly was 2nd in the league in yards running the football this year. They were 1st in rushing attempts. How much more can they run the football?

Even in 2022 when KM was in Dallas they had the 6th most rushing attempts in the NFL.

This narrative that Moore doesn't run the football is very odd to me.
