Schottenheimer mentioned a few times that he wants to change the culture. That is one thing I think can make a world of difference around here. It won't be an easy thing to do but it one thing I did appreciate hearing that today from our new head coach.

LOL.

Well intentioned thought to have.

Until players stop talking to him and go right to Jerry.

Wade wanted to do it too. Jerry wouldnt let him fine players.

You want to change the culture in Dallas. Get rid of the helicopter landing pad on the practice field. To start.

I would venture to say, that very statement "change culture" is said at 90% of these coach new hire press conferences.

If you are hiring a new coach then something went wrong and it is a easy thing to say.

I'm pretty sure the culture isn't changing.

Besides- If you have a championship level roster and top quality coaching, wins and "culture" will take care if themselves.
Culture may be a problem, but ultimately it's a lame excuse.
Good players win games.

Wait until you find out that the way you get good players is with elite team building skills…and guess what, this team is clueless when it comes to team building..so what is your excuse now?

Its gonna be a tough lift to change the culture when Jerry is pumping sunshine 24/7

How do you change the culture when the Owner/GM is not accountable for his job performance?
How can you be demanding and hold players accountable when head man is not ?
Should be interesting.

Shotty is a journeyman OC and was tabbed by Jerry to be HC because Dak endorsed him…no other reason. It wasn’t for his leadership or schematic knowledge; it was because the organization could continue to maintain status quo…heaven forbid an outside coach comes in and makes changes and Dak actually has to work to better his craft instead of mailing it in.
They all knew it at the press conference…they couldn’t spin it…so Jerry waxes whimsical about his coaching ambitions, and Stephen kept parroting about injuries…like no other NFL team sustains them.
What a freaking joke…

Jerry has said there is nothing wrong with the culture. That may be the last time we’ll hear that from BS. LOL, BS, how appropriate.. :muttley:
