I fully understand everyone's upset with this lackluster coaching hire.

I agree with everything you say. However, I am hoping he sees all the criticism and decides he will spend what he has to to make the team a viable contender and catch up with the Eagles and the like. As crazy as this sounds possibly he was so upset with the loss against Green Bay that he dedicated the whole season to being vindictive to McCarthy by giving him absolutely nothing to work with and not letting him speak to the bears for that coaching job pretty much doing everything he could to make McCarthy fail.

There's any justice for us fans maybe he dedicates himself to trying to make schottenheimer successful it's really all in his hands.

Biadiaz and Tyron Smith replaced with rookies.

I look at how the eagles ended last season and how the Cowboys ended the eagles were in a dysfunctional shambles and the Cowboys losing at home in the first round.

Then look how both teams handle the adversity one stood on their hands and got worse.

Other made some of the Best personnel decisions I've seen in football in recent memory.

And we both had similar problems our quarterbacks needed some help the eagles had saquon Barkley and we add washed up Zeke

He’s never going to fire Schottenheimer with years left on his deal, either. Some important decisions have to be made in the next 90 days. My guess is the New York Giants will be aggressive in free agency. It’s more likely the Cowboys are a fourth place team next season than moving ahead of Washington or Philadelphia in 2025.

Agreed this whole year we completely lost ground while the eagles and commanders stockpile talent.

Yeah….most teams are like ‘what went wrong last year and how can we fix it?’

Jerry and his kid are like “well we got Parsons coming up…”

I think the kid would feel threatened by a strong personality also.

We can hope all we want that he might take a step back eventually, but he seems to love the spotlight as well and wants to walk around and flex his power.

They hired yet another puppet. As I keep saying, none of this will change until rock bottom is hit, and they aren’t there. If there’s any good news, they are headed directly for it.

Good post. I watched more of the press conference and it’s pretty clear Jerry is senile, arrogant beyond compare, and hates the fans. Maybe mediocrity is the ceiling.

My focus or what I'm looking at as an indicator to the '25 season is FA. If they're not active and fill holes during March it's going to go bad.

For sure if we get him but those young offensive lineman need to put in the off-season from hell and get strong and put weight on and come out NFL ready if we are going to be able to run the ball and protect our quarterback.

Along with the fact we need an offensive line coach that can pick the best five guys that can work together not just put the new guys we drafted out there because they're Jerry's new toys.

You have to admit between having the wrong running back and the wrong offensive lineman out there we pissed away half the season with a horrible running game

Some of the theories they come up with. Then repeat over and over. Making urban legends from them.
Some of them are true though.

Jerry is the ultimate 29 year factor. But to say he sabotaged the 2024 season on purpose is absurd.
He sabotaged it and the future for the next 4 years opening day.
