Klayton Adams interview today

The DL coach was a steal - hiring this guy as well would make too much sense for the Jones’.
By all accounts, this guy is a fantastic football coach.

I don’t think you can really criticize anything other than the HC.

If they get Adams, this staff is a complete 180 on last seasons duds
I agree that Schottenheimer isn't an exciting pick as HC (mainly because of his "shotty" play calling history, but he's the guy hiring these assistants. He at least has a better vision imo than previous guys we've had like McCarthy.

I agree

Coaching staffs and players make coaches look good. The staff is shaping up … let’s see how they approach free agency

Heck I would take it. A dynamic back could make your offense and defense better (control the clock). Look at what Barkley brought to the eagles. The question is can Jeanty have a Barkley like impact?
I think he could, we would just need to strengthen the line. Finding a FA C and moving Beebe to G would be a start. I don’t like the value of a RB at 12 but his talent is hard to deny, he’s easily a top 5 player

Mike just went to the retread bin of assistant coaches.

No real thought went into his hires other than former names.

This would be a positive. Maybe someone that very few will hate.

I am totally onboard with this hire. Having athletic lineman like Beebe, Smith and Guyton coupled with a coach who is really good in the run game is definitely a step in the right direction. Really need to make running the ball the focus (which shotty has a history of doing) and coupling that with good run design and play action is going to put Dak in a much better position and open the passing game up.
All of this for the FO to say in the upcoming draft, “we wanted a RB but the draft just didn’t fall that way for us…..”. Lol

Beebe should stay at C. A guy with his power and movement skills will be more valuable there than OG. They also drafted a college LT in the 7th round (Nathan Thomas) that was a road grader type at Louisiana who should be a OG or RT in the league.

It actually appears they are building a strong staff to put around BS. Almost Detroit like. Makes me think they might actually add some FA’s finally
