For a 6 or 7th? I’d listen.
Yeah I dont understand the need to trash him. He's super talented and been on a sorry team. I'd absolutely take him for the right price.

Yep. I’d look at him for sure. You just never know. The talent is there.Yeah I dont understand the need to trash him. He's super talented and been on a sorry team. I'd absolutely take him for the right price.
I can't say I blame him.Matt's just trying to get in her pants.
I agree with this thinking, outside of the top 4 WRs in the draft the pickings are slim and I don't know if they will ever be a NFL no 2.we are being forced to pick a WR either at 12 or in a trade down situation.I wouldn't be unhappy with any of these 3 players. I will be a little surprised if Dallas drafts Nolen in the first. I just don't think going DT again is something Jerry would love to do. I've heard the rumors about Nolen and while I wasn't hot on him before, it makes me wonder if someone is trying to taint him so he falls to them.
I have heard a lot of analysts on NFL radio network saying Pearce is an underrated Edge rusher. I've heard a couple of guys say they think he will be the best pass rusher to come out of this draft.
I still think the pick is Golden. The Cowboys seem desperate for another skill position player and they aren't wrong. I think Golden gets a bad rap for not being productive enough in college. But I think he is an excellent receiver and will have success in the NFL. Pairing him with CeeDee will make both of them more successful.
I think Jane Slater is more tied into the Cowboys front office than some other guys, like Bryan Broaddus. And if these 3 are the Cowboys top targets, I agree with Slater that the Cowboys are thinking in the right direction.
But, it all depends on how the top 11 picks fall. I have seen mocks where Golden and TMac are gone before Dallas picks.
Mazi was never the player Walter was in college though. 2 very different styles and players really.Walter Nolen would be Mazi part deux
Let's not even attempt to place Tuten in the same light as Gibbs. Gibbs is shifty and basically a WR in the passing games, Tuten isn't like that at all.I like Martinez a lot as well. I'd prefer a lead Rb than a committee. But I don't see Tuten as a waste of resources. Teams pay a premium for players with elite athleticism + production because they can change games with a single play. I'd expect both him and Henderson to go pretty high in this draft for that reason.
The Lions have shown that there is a huge benefit to having a gamebreaker at RB, especially paired with a complementary skillset. While the complementary guys can be found throughout the draft, the athletes almost always go high.
Just my thoughts.I like Nolen more than Grant abilitywise. I think Grant could be a high-end NT, but Nolen could be a high-end 3-tech. In this defense, 3-tech is the engine that drives the car.
I initially wanted him at 12, but the concerns about him made me back off. I don't really trust the Cowboys to vet those concerns, though, so if they took him, I'd have to cross my fingers and hope. I think at worst that he'll perform well in spurts.
We may disagree on Tuten, but I'm with you Martinez. He's a complete back.Let's not even attempt to place Tuten in the same light as Gibbs. Gibbs is shifty and basically a WR in the passing games, Tuten isn't like that at all.
We can disagree, Martinez is going to bring a mentality in the run, set a tone, bring physicality like these coaches have been talking about all offseason. Martinez is going to break tackles, shake some, and get first while holding onto the ball. Tuten is a decent RB, don't get me wrong, but he's a fumbler. Tuten is a speed supplement, Martinez is a workhorse.
like Tuten too, but I have more reservations, mainly, holding onto the ball. Of course, I like the fact he can go yard if he gets a good crease. We may disagree on Tuten, but I'm with you Martinez. He's a complete back.
Some serious bust possibilities there. Watch for Pierce on a trade down.
I'm not sure he's a lead back in the way Martinez is. I think it's more of a Zeke/Pollard situation. With the ratio reversed.I

Why do you have Tuten as a main RB, traits wise?
Ok, so I really like the Pollard type lead RB model. Thanks, that example gives me a better perspective. Absolutely game for Tuten in that role with a power RB later.I'm not sure he's a lead back in the way Martinez is. I think it's more of a Zeke/Pollard situation. With the ratio reversed.
His speed is the number one reason to draft him high, because he can score touchdowns from anywhere on the field as a runner.
Tyleik Williams is the player Mazi Smith was purported to be.Mazi was never the player Walter was in college though. 2 very different styles and players really.
Mazi Smith was more of a lane clogger in college. Didn't make many plays behind the LOS.
Nolen is known as a twitchy fast DT who actually made players behind the line of scrimmage in college. He had 6 sacks and 25 hurries in college football last year. That is more than Mazi Smith ever had combined at Michigan. And honestly he was a better run stopper than Mazi was in College. Nolen is probably the most explosive DT in the draft.
Give me Nolen. Remember Jalen Carter's "maturity" issues. Fell to the Eagles and look how much of a beast he is on the field. We need a violent DT like him on our front.
I would take Nolen over any WR in this draft.
