Our training room and Staff ranking near the bottom of the league is pitiful

Jerry earned that yacht, and all of the fine things in life he could be enjoying.

It’s just pretty sad that his ego won’t allow him to enjoy it, but would rather continue to attempt to prove that he could do what Jimmy Johnson did, which is already impossible, but he also won’t trust anyone else to run the team better than he thinks he can.

I mean really, take a minute and think of the lifestyle he could be leading on a daily basis. Anything and everything at your leisure, with a full staff to fetch it for you as you live on a yacht in the most exotic places on earth.

But nope….gotta prove he is a “football guy” and take the rest of us down with him.
It’s what makes Jerry, Jerry. He’s always wanting to conquer the next thing. In this case it’s a 30 year challenge but you have to give it to him, he’s still trying.

I would be hanging with the hos on the yacht if I were him.

Can’t he do both?

A lot of people continue working until death. The idea of just sitting in a rocking chair just doesn’t appeal.

Me? I can’t wait lol

lol.

I said 'need'. Not 'want'. There is not any need (unintended pun) in posting their distinct definitions.

I made the correct judgment for Jerry Jones' motive. He wanted a super yacht. He is a multi-billionaire. Shazam.

"Why do you need to have that car says the man living in the cardboard box."

That is a false, poorly constructed equivalency for what I actually stated.
jerry can easily afford 10 super yachts, he could buy each of his kids one, but he wont because he is too cheap !!
Jerry doesnt even pay his kids what he should, 2 are worth 3-400 mil, and step\hen made some $
on his own, so his worth was 8-900 mil.

Jerry keeps all the money ,yachts, and power to himself lol.
Him keeping all the $ to himself keeps everyone kissing his butt, hoping for something good in the will lol.

I agree this has everything to do with him.
So you think changing my post makes you look clever?

Agenda has been exposed.

Y'all can go see the original post I made said NOTHING.

If you have to resort to outright lies to make your point you lost long before you got started. I now know you are a person with zero integrity and as a result lck any respect at all.

I think we need a Cowboys fan union with health insurance benefits due to the cumulative post season losses that have caused mental and physical abuse including but not limited to fractured hands from pounding the side table in disgust while watching tv; breaking toes, spraining ankles from kicking a wall or front door or power stomping on the way out of the house; and yes drinking too much alcohol or smoking too much weed, and getting too fat eating comfort food after blowouts.

It is possible Mad Genius believes he pays his players well-enough that they should get their own trainers. Therapists. Portable hot tubs...
I think they should get their own trainers myself
. Emmett Smith did it.
. Although I think you should have people in house that know what they’re talking about.
But I want my own doctor, don’t you?

Maybe our team culture is just soft, which is why they vote this way…. Of is really even statistically relevant…. 70% seems like a pretty high satisfaction rate to me…

We don’t know anything about this poll. Who voted? How many of those who voted played on another team and have something to compare to? But this kind of fits with how things get ran around here from my viewpoint. The things that the public sees are top of the line (the stadium, star, weight room, players walking through), but then you have the cheapness with free agency and coaches. Doesn’t surprise that we skimped PT staff.

Let's not stop at Emmitt Smith. BY THE POWER OF GOOGLE! (presto!)

  • Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant (Tim Grover)
  • LeBron James (Mike Mancias)
  • Tom Brady (Alex Guerrero)
  • Serena Williams (Mackie Shilstone)
  • Manny Pacquiao (Freddie Roach)
  • Floyd Mayweather (Floyd Mayweather Sr.)
  • Tiger Woods (Keith Kleven)

Cristiano Ronaldo. Simone Biles. Novak Djokovic. Patrick Mahomes. There is a HUGE, long-running, laundry list of professional and even amateur athletics who have and shall continue employing personal trainers.

You made a good point that does not counter my point, which directly relates to the thread topic. Refresher: As a group, Dallas Cowboys players graded their training facilities and personnel both with an average C grade.

There are players, on all NFL teams, who hire personal trainers. They buy training equipment for their homes. None of this is new news.

These NFL players are not self-employed. They are employees of their teams. Their teams' management mandate their employees be in optimal physical conditioning in order to compete at the highest level of football on planet Earth.

(list) Why is it that some NFL players believe Michael Bidwell, Terry and Kim Pegula, Jimmy and Dee Haslam, Clark Hunt, Robert Kraft, Woody Johnson, Arthur Rooney II, the Allens, the Glazers, Josh Harris

and the Jones Clan

provide them with one or both average and/or subpar training facilities and personnel?

What are these owners' excuses for not supplying their employees with these conditioning requirements their jobs demand? Is the excuse MONEY? All the other owners not named above have money. Those other owners' players believe their training facilities and personnel are above average or great.

Is the excuse that they are incapable of finding competent, top quality, training personnel? Did all their peers hoard all the best people for themselves and left them with slim pickings?

There are both separate and mutually held explanations for why they, along with Jerry Jones and The DNA Kids, get C and below grades per the thread topic. Again, I think it is quite possible Mad Genius supports the opinion you support.

Jerry overpays his guys so much that he probably expects them to have top of the line home gyms

Yall playing mind games with wording...

No way Cowboys are flying commercial to games with random travelers.

Commercial on a chartered jet maybe.

Why make it sound like they are on a plane with random travelers?

Your a freaking idiot! Anyone that thinks Dak isn't a problem needs their head examined.

Publicizing the ratings of last year's training situation might offer something less than an accurate idea of what to think of the conditions this year. Waiting until this year's results are in might be wise, for a better impression. We have a new staff with different procedures in 2025.
First of all these are poles taken from various sources of players who usually have either been on a team and left and they've seen other facilities how do you know how they rank these most of these players are either jaded from being cut or left and went to another facility because what they have had those players have had to been in the home locker room and facilities of every single team in order for this to be accurate seems to be a lot of cherry picking.

Sure pick a year in which we had a ton of injuries and some of those things are skewed at San Francisco maybe they suck too because San Francisco had the same luck or I should say bad luck with injuries last year I mean I remember a report Where Christian mccaffrey was only supposed to miss so much time with his Achilles flare up and he pretty much missed the entire year they kept saying he's weak to week is going to be back and then it turned into he might need surgery and blah blah blah and at the same thing that happens here maybe that's just normal....

Here are the NFLPA report cards for ‘24 and ‘23 for every team. If you click on the team, you get a more detailed breakdown. Basically there was a big drop from ‘23 to ‘24 on training room and training staff.

Good post. I wonder if the differences in annual group opinion may be connected with the influx of newer players onto the roster each year? We should put a pin in this topic and compare the 2026 report cards along with these.
