Belt: Miles Sanders showing way more juice than Javonte Williams

That could be the case. Averages are pumped up by bigger runs. However, it can be especially true with a lower amount of carries. I remember when fans wanted to start Troy Hambrick over Emmitt because Hambrick's average was higher as a backup with a whole lot fewer carries. Emmitt left, they tried Hambrick as the starter and his average tumbled.

I personally prefer backs who can average 4-plus without any big runs because that shows they are not really just averaging a yard or two and every now and then inflating their YPC with a 20-yarder. I mean, if you had four runs for a yard each and then ran for 20, you're averaging 5 YPC.
It all balances out; short yardage situation runs tend to balance out the long runs and vice versa.

At some point, Blue takes over as RB1.
That's what they said at UT
Not really. But when it mattered, or they needed a clutch play, who got the ball? ( See championship game.)

It's not about starters at Texas. It's a RB factory there. They're almost always by committee. Even when it was Ricky Williams, there was Priest Holmes

When it was Robinson, it was also Johnson and so on.

Nice try, though.
2022: Blue was RB5
2023: Blue was RB3, a freshman (Baxter) came in and took a position ahead of Blue.
2024: Blue was RB2, RB1 Baxter got hurt in August, and next man up/upperclassmen Blue got is spot took again by Wisner.

Two underclassmen took Blue's job, these are facts not hope, not hate, just facts. One thing you were correct about is Texas does use a committee of RBs, but somebody has to lead the committee and even when he was the OG in the room it wasn't Blue.

Bo Nix was around 50 yards away from being the leading rusher for Denver last season. That doesn't give much confidence for Williams as well.
The running game overall will have lots of questions going into the season.

Well, the evidence from Carolina shows that he's a back in decline. It wasn't that he played on a team with bad run-blocking. He had a poor YPC while Chuba Hubbard had a great season. Doesn't mean he won't overcome that, but the evidence is against it. In his prime, Sanders was better than anything Williams has ever shown, though, peaking at 5.5 per carry in 2021. Williams' best has been 4.4.

I don't know enough about their run scheme and how he fit to be certain of it. Hubbard was also my argument as for why I expect Javonte to be more impactful. Maybe I was wrong....

It can be hard to tell. There can be so many factors that we don't know about. Some players play through injuries that slow them down, but they keep playing anyway. Some just are a bad fit for what their team is doing.

I tend to look at the evidence available because that's all we've got, but that doesn't mean a player can't prove the evidence wrong. I still will go with the evidence until we have new evidence ... and OTAs or even minicamps aren't much evidence.

I would think we won't have a good idea until the preseason games. Camp when the pads come on will show us a little. And even preseason, it depends on who is playing.

I dont care who has what left. Blue will eventually unseat any of them.
Blue was never the primary ball carrier in college. Hard to imagine he would be in the NFL as a rookie. I think he will begin as a special package guy and change of pace this year. He has a lot to prove as a 5th round RB.

Question: Will “Coach Jones” even allow his prize RB FA signings to play this preseason?

Last summer, Zeke was considered so critical to this offense by our GM and shadow HC, he never played a down in a PS game. Will Jerry allow Sanders or Javonte Williams to be tire tested this summer?
It wont have anything to do with jerry, shotty will decide all that, and probably gives all 4
and maybe duece too a chance to play in ps.
