The Patriots traded Bledsoe a year after he signed the biggest contract at the time for a QB because Brady took advantage of an opportunity. Dak has never come close to playing to a level that required the Cowboys to use their top pick on a QB.

Yeah I mean it was one of those tough situations where you don't improve your team through free agency you do it through the draft so how much draft capital should you waste on a QB? I liked Lance and I like Milton. Dak is a top 10 QB so chances are whoever they draft will more than likely be a wasted pick. Its tough to find a QB of his caliber contrary to popular belief. They got lucky with Romo and got lucky with Dak. Typically players of their caliber you have to use a top pick on.
