Parsons: "We wanted to do a contract last year."

It's almost like Jerry and Stephen are betting or hoping that Micah has a bad year or gets injured.

The argument we want to get Dak done first then talk to CeeDee is stupid. They should have known long ago if they wanted to sign all three, and the order should not have mattered. Had they signed Micah last year they probably could have gotten him for around $35 million. The Cowboys are not serious about winning.
He isn’t playing without an extension. He’s not going to participate in contact drills without an extension. He’s on his first contract so his fines can be excused. This is his last shot at any leverage, whatsoever.

The Cowboys are not a good team. Micah Parsons is a good player. He knows his productivity is necessary to any Cowboys success.

I'm tired of hearing about contracts. This is something to talk about and do in the off-season.

Actual football is right around the corner.

This is the second time this offseason I've typed the exact same words regarding a Parsons comment...

As true as it may be, why on earth do you say that publicly.
To shut up the people who are blaming him for the long wait.

There’s people here saying it’s the agents and Micah as the reason why nothing is done yet.

This shuts them up pretty quick.

We need to stop going the Jones’ credit for being “deal makers.” They are demonstrably morons that give up all leverage.
Same thing every time it's time for a big contract to be done, act as if we don't have the money/lots of word salads/confusion/disagreements, ultimately 2 players at that position set the market while this goes on, we wait for the next one to take it higher JUST so we can beat it, uhhhhhhhhhhh

If there’s one thing Jerry does well it’s screw up contract negotiations. He’ll do the same thing next year with Tyler smith

I can’t stand the jones clan

Nearly begging Jerry to get his deal done before Garrett..........

Honestly i feel sad for this guy. I am not even able to make fun of him anymore when i read posts like this.

He really thinks that someone of the DC FO listens to him or views him as an dialog partner at eye level. A dumb and naive kid.

What a pitful human being.

That's your takeaway from that?

I think I just identified the pitiful human being.

To be fair thats not my takeaway from that alone. The dumbo posts a lot of such naive rubbish.

I just used this one from him for my post.

But i guess i have hurt your feelings. Its seems you have some sort of tighter relationship with him?!

Anyways.... sorry for that. Didnt mean to.

What's naive about what he said in this specific tweet? He's literally calling out the Jones' for being dumb and not signing him earlier which will end up costing them more money.

They’ll wait until next year if he lets them. He probably shouldn’t practice at camp without a contract. A holdout would drive us all crazy and for some reason that always seems to come up.

Our conversation was about Tyler Smith’s deal.
No. It was about Jerry not extending people early. This is proof he doesn’t . Even when afforded the opportunity. Just take the L man.

You’re free to believe whatever you want to. One size most certainly does not fit all.

I’m not defending the Jones’ contract negotiations by any means.

But the fact is that agents and players play the waiting game as well when it suits them.

But again, you believe whatever you want.

Would they let him play out his last 2 years, tag him twice and then trade him in year 7?
That would be favorable to Jerry's pocket, not the Cowboys. That's three monster cap hits in a row, with no way of restructuring. That move would be strictly to save money, with no regard for the cap. Jerry doesn't seem to be concerned with saving money when it comes to his stars.

We have officially made it to camp with no deal done. Big and little strike again.

I wrote about that in my initial post. Maybe you should read it more carefully and try to understand ?
Before answering in a rude tone because of the emotional wave you are in and are not able to because of that.
