1st option should be off the table at this point. Parsons has made it public to millions that he no longer wants to be with the Cowboys organization. You really can't bring someone back who makes such a statement to practically the whole football world. It would be a bad locker-room presence and impacts the team as a whole. (No matter if Parsons if using it for leverage or not)

There is no other option now but to trade him. Jerry has completely firebombed the relationship.

If we can get multiple firsts + additional compensation back, it can be worth it, but man. The fact this one got to this point is unbelievably stupid.

The kicker though? Dallas has nearly zero leverage at the negotiating table now since there is very little credible threat that they even want to resign him.

A generational talent, gone from Dallas mainly because of Jerry's hubris and inability to get deals done early. This should have been wrapped last off season.

1st option should be off the table at this point.
2nd option should be off the table at this point because there is no way another team is gonna give up anything after all the crap that has been said about both sides.

Trade…
Yes he elite, yes he’s the best player we have… and yes you get players like this once in a generation.
But we aren’t going to compete for the Super Bowl in the next few years and his career will all be but done by the time we can compete.
So trade him for as picks as we can and use them to rebuild… including a new quarterback.

Hundreds of players across the history of sports have done this to their teams and end up returning Myles Garrett wanted to be traded just last offseason Going into this season he got his money Terry Mclaurin's doing it right now, He wants out Brandon Ayuk did it last year, You realize that they had trade offers and some deals that almost got done it came to where he was pretty much just about gone from the team and still came back to the 49ers It did get further than what we're doing with Parsons right now and you act like it's something new that can't be fixed it can be fixed this is just a court of public opinion it means nothing in the real world they're posturing they're puffing they're creating this atmosphere to get negotiations moving one way or the other...

but there are hundreds most of them end up back on their team, And we've seen it across sports I don't even need to pick the teams names they literally delete their social media accounts they take their names off anything associated with that team and then in the end most of them end up back it's kind of odd you think this has never happened before it is not just with jerry.. Literally Emmitt Smith held out two games that was much more serious and he ended up coming back and didn't get a single offer from another team while he was holding out he remained a Cowboy for most of his career... I mean they didn't have social media back then not to this point they barely had Internet but it was far worse the man didn't play two real games He claimed he only had a three year contract because the last year was voided the Cowboys said that wasn't true and that team had a championship pedigree a lot of mad teammates and yet it got done There was no ill will it's just business you all are making this into something it's not...

because the Cowboys own his rights, so it is not off the table,

this is what they're doing, this is social media This is no different than a strike or a picket line or other employee employer battles that have been made public it's just social media makes it 10 times worse now, it's like gasoline on a fire, its making fans pick sides and you guys are falling for it...

Absolutely disagree that is not true at all there are plenty of options it's not the first time this has happened in the history of sports it's not past fixing not even close...

You don't use free agency to supplement talent acquisition. You strictly use the draft to acquire talent.

Once players get to the point where an extension is needed, you cannot keep trading them away in hopes of more picks and expect to be a consistent playoff contender or super bowl contender.

Why they continue to play the same stupid games not expecting to get stupid prizes stuns me.
