This should be an interesting poll for everyone.

Your middle choice makes your poll not interssting anymore.

2+ first round picks is a no brainer.

Ok maxbe not with our drafting Departement. What are we able to draft with first round picks? We may get an wanna be LT that will play backup guardin the end and a new podcaster who informs everybody about it.

No reason to trade him now. Let's see if EZ is who we think he is and trading Parson's at the deadline should create some competition.

Who knows the Parson trade could result into the Manning sweepstakes in the future.
Manning lol
Ill pass until late 1st

Reminder that he was eligible to be the highest paid nonQB in 2024 for about 33m$ a year before Jefferson signed.

Now you’ll be lucky if it’s under 43m$. The difference is more than what Derrick Henry makes
Reminder that in Michael's diatribe of a statement he announced to the word that his agent told him we arent signing now as the price will go up. That was straight out of Micah's MOUTH. So enough of the BS that the cowboys could have easily got this done last year.

He also wrote he shut the agent down and said he doesn’t need to be highest paid and just get it done sooner

Trade him at this point since he stated he dont want to be a cowboy no more.

Micah didn't say that at all. Two sides to every story and we don't know if Micah's side is 100% accurate, however I think you're taking his words out of context quite a bit here.

Micah said the following in relation to after the 2024 season:
"My agent informed me I should wait for other deals to get doe because the price would only go up but I didn't care and wanted to secure myself as a Cowboys long term."
He also said this about getting a deal done in 2023
I had my agent reach out to the Cowboys last offseason after my 3rd year in hopes of getting a deal done early. Unfortunately the team did not want to start any negotiations at that point."

It seems like from Micahs viewpoint he was very motivated to get a deal done from the start.

You guys think Jerry really allows Micah to walk?

Everyone knows that would be stupid.

Problem is you got to find a dance partner but I absolutely would trade him for the big haul

1st option should be off the table at this point. Parsons has made it public to millions that he no longer wants to be with the Cowboys organization. You really can't bring someone back who makes such a statement to practically the whole football world. It would be a bad locker-room presence and impacts the team as a whole. (No matter if Parsons if using it for leverage or not)
I don't believe that. A lot of these guys operate on emotions. You come in tomorrow with a big offer and explain the misunderstanding and all is well imo.

Of course, we are only talking about ONE ego, and need to consider Jerry's ego as well. He may take it personal and be less willing to make an offer because of it.

None of this helps in trade negotiations.

When you are supposedly a “draft and develop “ team, you have to sign your best players.

Dallas has to sign Micah or they simply aren’t being consistent with their own strategies.

Trading him was an option earlier— but now his value drops, team morale takes a hit, and there is a negative media and fan reaction to the situation

The simplest and clearest way forward is to sign Micah, make nice, and move on.

If it is indeed true that the FO hasn’t even discussed a deal with his agent, then we have the dumbest FO in sports— not just the NFL

I voted to sign him but I’m pretty much done with the Jerry Jones media circus soap opera crap. I don’t watch soap operas because they’re scripted and fake. I’m getting to the point the Cowboys are scripted and fake and the main(and only) star is Jerry Jones. Part of me hopes Micah holds out for the whole year and this forces Jerry to rethink his approach.

2024- Dak Prescott contract extension offseason
2025- Micah Parsons contract extension offseason
2026- it will be Tyler Smith

And it will keep going and going and going. It’s always something. Why can’t they just be a normal football team?

Jethro will screw this up. Probably not get enough in a trade if it comes to that.

We should have stepped up last year As always we wait too long and price keeps going up.

What a disaster of a franchise.

I remember how terrible this defense was before Parsons. I suspect it will revert back to that if they trade him. The guy was willing to take less than the top DEs in the league. Jerry should have done the deal then and walked away happy but he is very dumb when it comes to this stuff.

I think this is just the beginning of the collapse that is imminent.
When Jerry gave Dak Prescott that abomination of a contract last year on opening day, I think the Cowboys players knew that they would never see a Super Bowl.
So they are determined to get paid if their career is going to be wasted. And if they can't get paid, they are not willing to be the scapegoat. They know that when the Cowboys crash, someone will get the blame. And then everyone who doesn't have a lucrative long term contract will see their chances of ever getting one be gone forever.
