Pay him what he wants. Alongside CeeDee, Tyler Smith and Brandon Aubrey, he's the best thing about this team.

Give me A or B.

Option C is fairly toxic.

I can't choose between A and B without further context but its depends on the quality of the picks and price of contract etc. On the surface I'm ok with both options I suppose.

Reminder that in Michael's diatribe of a statement he announced to the word that his agent told him we arent signing now as the price will go up. That was straight out of Micah's MOUTH. So enough of the BS that the cowboys could have easily got this done last year.
I didn’t hear it would be easy . But going back to 2023 there were rumors Micah would be interested in resigning then.

But to my knowledge we didn’t have interest in doing anything that early . Even last year I don’tt recall us entertaining even making an offer .

We always wait until last minute which usually cost us more. The only exception I can recall was with Eliiott where he was sitting out in Cabo after his 3rd year holding out for a deal

Maybe that what Micah should have done . But he maintained all along he wasn’tt sitting out and wanted to stay here. Until now when we haven’t apparently been prepared to step up to the plate.

Everyone knew going in this year that the price was going to be highest paid non QB in the league. You either think he’s worth or deserves it and crucial to our success defensively or you don’t and move on making a landmark trade deal.

Just the way we handle these big deals always suk. And it ultimately impacts our season and likely whatever good culture we might have had going. Rinse and repeat Cowboy fans . Booooooooooo

It’s once again amateur hour in the cowboys front office. They have completely botched this negotiation and have now alienated their best player. Whether you sign him or trade him, this should have been wrapped up before the draft.

I wouldn't hold onto this very much. Yes, it's a different sport, but who would have thought it was possible that the Mavericks would have traded Luka Dončić. Luka had all the accolades and never said anything about not wanting to be a Maverick. In reality, anything is possible when it comes to sports business.

Yep, another botched negotiation. This should have been wrapped up in the spring.

If we could get two firsts that would be amazin, but it's Jerry and Stephen, so not likely.

I could go with any of those options but at this point, with Barnum and Bailey running the circus, I'd take the bird in the hand and pay him.

The problem with trading Micah for two first round picks is that same people who have been building the team the last 30 years will be making the picks.

No one will pay two first rounders. Best you can hope for is a 1st and 2nd imo. Borderline if it’s worth it. Not a good situation.

1st option should be off the table at this point. Parsons has made it public to millions that he no longer wants to be with the Cowboys organization. You really can't bring someone back who makes such a statement to practically the whole football world. It would be a bad locker-room presence and impacts the team as a whole. (No matter if Parsons if using it for leverage or not)
Cleveland did exactly that with Myles Garrett. Hasn't caused problems.

I voted trade him. Because he is way too good a player and deserves better. He will never win anything with Dak so why not let him go where he wants and get a ring.
Micah showed a lot of love for the Eagles. Maybe he would go there and win a ring?

trade him for a ton of pick

boo hoo i cant watch micah disappear when it matter and stand around and jog in important game anymore

guy is a clown more interested in being a podcaster and twitch streamer

Rather lose 16 games than give in and sign him now. He's a punk. His immature attitude has wore thin.

Amen. Speaking truth.
