If all things equal best case scenario, for the team, is to sign him.

At least a vital piece to the puzzle would be there.

But this organization has no clue whatsoever like for more than a quarter of a century.

Think about it, we're all insane.

Another overrated fake leader undeserving of the contract he’ll get, they should trade his phony *** asap but it won’t happen because they’re spineless clowns.

Week 1 is going to be an epic level of embarrassment… We are nothing but a pile of distractions meanwhile smooth sailing as usual in Philly…

So are the Cowboys better off without him this season?
That answer is no, but if someone blows you away with 2 first round picks plus a second and maybe a DT, you have to consider it. Stockpile #1’s by trading them for future 1’s, and get loaded to move up and draft a blue chip QB when available.

Trade him. He’s nothing more than an Eze progress stopper at this point

So let’s pile up first round picks in order to deflate our defense even more? You realize the problem with the last 30 years is that we continue to invest a lopsided amount in the offense compared to defense.

Jerry likes to negotiate dirty. He wants the negotiations to be emotional.

Dak has also played more than twice as many years in the league as Parsons.

Why compare a DE to a QB when it comes ti injuries.
Yep and he sucks where as Parsons is one of two defense players of all time(ALL TIME) to have 12+ sacks in his first four seasons. He deserves it far more than Dak did at this point in his career. Dak sucked before he got his 160 million dollar deal in 20/21 and looked slow before his ankle injury. Dak has played 9 years and all he has to his name is a gifted ROY(should’ve been Zeke) and 2nd in MVP.

Very good reply and thank you. I hadn't considered the QB part enough to be honest. It's something the Cowboys have to consider with Dak getting older and more injury prone.

The Cowboys really need him. In my opinion the best defensive player on the team.
No they don't.....Everyone acts like this guy is All world.....when in reality.....this guy shows up when he wants......takes plays off when he wants......posts crap online all the time. Is more interested in Podcasts than playing football. Had very questionable character before we even drafted him....And now people are pointing the finger @ Jerry for not signing this guy. Very seldom do I agree with Jerry.....But on this one....I do. I'd trade this guy in a heartbeat. He's quickly turning into a team moral cancer.

He’s one of the worst rushing defending guys on the team too. Let’s not act like teams don’t run at will to his side
Parsons can be neutralized by running the ball with success and by double teams. All good teams do both.

Thoughts of the situation Jimmy Johnson was in when he ultimately traded Herschel Walker for multiple picks. Walker was the Cowboys’ best player at the time and many thought he was crazy to trade him.

Interesting point made above about Jerry potentially stockpiling Ist round picks for hopes of acquiring Arch Manning in 2027. I feel franchise QB is more important than Parsons at this point. This team is going nowhere with the current QB. Hope Jerry sees it that way.
Right you are govnor. "This team is going nowhere with the current QB."
But re Arch Manning as our future pick, tha is a pipe dream. Wait to see how the SEC lads manhandle Arch in 2025 before you anoint him as our savior.

This team has been and still is going nowhere with GM Jethro for decades now.
