The Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in recent memory.

The spotlight in Dallas is shining on three beloved former Cowboys who are also first-time eligible: TE Jason Witten, WR Dez Bryant, and LB Sean Lee.

Each played pivotal roles during their tenure with the team, and now, Cowboys fans are hoping the Hall of Fame selection committee gives them their due.
  • TE Jason Witten
  • WR Dez Bryant
  • LB Sean Lee
  • S Darren Woodson

Harvey Martin, Darren Woodson, and Jason Witten in that order. Bob Bruenig, and Everson Wals in the Ring of Honor.

The dude is wrong when he says the NFL isn’t stats driven. Skill position players get in the Hall of Fame due to their numbers except for a few QBs that won multiple Super Bowls including Troy Aikman. There’s no debate about Jason Witten getting in the Hall of Fame. He’s a first ballot lock.

Jason Whitlock is a moron of epic proportions.

Witten is and should be a lock for the hall of fame.

Woodson is the only one deserving of HOF

Cowboys All time leading tackler
Could play anywhere.. free safety, strong safety, line up in man coverage, linebacker, special teams demon

I don't know who you watching
He played 12 seasons. more than half of the intercepts come from that outstanding three-year period. Those last two probowls were on reputation.

Are you sure you are not confusing him with Rod Woodson? He played only five seasons at safety. He collected 25 ints, 5 TDs in just that five-year span.

Ill be shocked if Witten isnt a 1st ballot
i wouldn't .. look at how long it took TE Antonio Gates to get in ,.. and he had far more TDs than WItten ..

What will help Witten's cause is he is part of " America's Team " ....

I'd love to have another LB like Sean Lee. Without the injuries. That's what will keep him out of the HOF.

Funny how Darren Woodson career don't seem much different than HOF John Lynch - and Woodson could play man to man SLOT coverage, something
Lynch could not do ...

It's past time for Woody to get in!! The fact that he isn't already in the HOF is a disgrace!!
What's keeping Everson Walls and Harbe Martin outtta the Hall of Fame ..??

HOF can have its' bias , imo ... Still very amazing that DefensiveP layer of the Year E Mark Gastineau and CB Lester Hayes are still not in the Hall of Fame ...

Witten - yes
Dez - no
Lee - no
Woodson - eventually

2 out of four isn't bad. Witten and Woody are as good as in. Dez and General Lee didn't have good enough careers. But they are shoe ins for the Hall of Very Good.

None of them will get in. They all played for Dallas.
Sorry dont agree, Dallas is well represented in the Hall. To me there does not seem to be any type of hold back. Woodson may make it but he was a safety, not many safeties make it at all.
Drew Pearson and Jimmy Johnson were questionable.
Heck I was surprised when Mel Renfro and Rayfield Wright got in after so many years after retirement when their names weren't even being mentioned.

Witten is a shoe-in. Dez and Lee will never make it.
Woodson still might

You're exactly right! Unfortunately, there's a bias against Dallas players and for the life of me I cannot bear to watch the HOF as long as they continue to overlook Darren Woodson!!
