Interesting Videos Thread

There's some negligence here (either on the part of the dumb ash wearing metal for an MRI, or the staff there). Any MRI I've had or heard of, they were very diligent about making sure I was wearing no metal or had none inside of me. When the doctor told me they wanted to order one, they emphatically told me not to bring/wear metal. Then the tech at the place asked me if I was wearing any and told me to take any off if I had some.
I don't think he was there to get an MRI, at least not at that moment. I get the sense they were just testing the machine, and he walked in the wrong door, or something. That shouldn't be even possible. There should be failsafe protocols.

Disregard the title of this video. It's a very good look back at how space rockets evolved...

The $3.9 Billion Tappan Zee Bridge Replacement

I'm not going to watch the whole video, but it was pretty cool, seeing the progress they were making each time I went over the Tappan Zee, and trying to visualize what it was going to look like.
It's so much better for traffic now, with 5 lanes in each direction.

I don't know if they mentioned it in the video, but it's no longer the Tappan Zee. It's the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge now. Well worth the wait.
