Offer made to Micah that would have made him the highest non QB player in the league. They had amount, years and guaranteed money agreed upon. Sent to his agent to go over and get signed. Agent says they can stick it up their $@$ and we are gonna negotiate all those again.

Jerry says that the years, amount and guarantees aren't gonna change. He feels these have already been agreed on.

Says he can same route as Dak and play out contract and then play on tag if he wants.

I'm not on either side but to be fair, Jerry keeps making that statement but the sticking point may not even be about per-year money.

Jerry has a history of pushing for 5 year deals so it may be that Jerry wants 5 and Micah wants 4. Or it could be that Micah wants a no-trade clause like Dak and the Cowboys are not going to do it. Or it could also be about how much is guaranteed in the contract.

There are way more details and factors that go into a contract like that than just per-year average salary so Jerry repeating the same line over and over means little until the other details come out.

The fact that Micah and/or his agent have not responded to Jerry's repeated comment is very interesting though for many reasons.

He doesn’t say what he offered

For all we know, Jerry offered 130m guaranteed for seven years or something similarly stupid. It would technically be the most guaranteed but it would be a terrible deal for Micah.

And for him to say Micah has three years left is totally messed up.

He’s flat out saying that he’s entitled to the franchise years.

He doesn’t have three years. He has one year. He has “control”, or likely in his mind “ownership” for two years after that

God I hate Jerry.

No other owners go out of their way to crap on their players.

There is always 3 sides to a story. The problem is that Jerry finds himself in this situation every single time to only make said player highest paid at his position or dam near close.
It is possible that the agent is trying to get Micah well overpayed than the next highest DOP and that could be the problem.
There does come a point some where along the line where you have to say a number is to high. We shall see, I like Micah and want to see him remain a Cowboy but if his number is that much higher than say Garrett or whoever else is their than let him play out next 3 years. I cant believe Im gonna say this but than Jerry is R**** just can't say it lol

Again, this is easily proven. Micah's agent would have received it in writing. Yet, Jerry has already told the world he doesn't know Mulugheta.

So, preliminary talks were had with no official offer being sent. Got it.

Excellent point. Even if the two sides are at an impasse, the silence from Micah and his agent is strange too.

Micah has not made a single peep in over three weeks since he asked for a trade.

Jerry continues to crap on Micah. Stephen continues to crap on him. Even Charlotte is talking.

Jerry also, this morning, got in another dig on Fox, calling him “Michael” again.

There is a long history of misnaming someone as a means to dehumanize them.

Micah has been silent.

He shouldn’t now. He needs to just blast Jerry. Expose him for the hustler that he is.

Not necessarily. It’s the old “you can pick your price, but I make the terms” mindset. I mean in theory I’ll pay $1,000,000 for a 2018 Honda Civic if I can pay you $1 a month. Jerry giving us one piece of information about the deal can be very misleading without the other key components.
