Don’t care about him, probably has a few more good years left but then will start fading well before the last year or two of a massive new contract.
I’d be extremely adamant about trading him if I thought Jerry would get something valuable in return but he’s the worst horse trader in the league. And he will probably botch the picks we get in return anyway. I’d be adamant about keeping him if I thought we were good enough to make the playoffs.

I care. I care because the owner has made a mess of a situation that didn;t have to be a mess. Micah offered to sign a deal for less than the top market value. Jerry decided he would rather turn this situation into a demented clown show.

I posted something in another thread, with Micah on the field the Cowboys are the #1 defense in EPA. With Micah not on the field they are 31st. In other words, with Micah on the field the defense is expected to give up fewer points, by a wide margin then when he is off the field. It makes no sense not to pay him. If you want to win you have to have difference makers on the field. If Jerry would pay Dak, why wouldn't he pay Micah who is the best player on the team.

I certainly didnt say I wanted to run him off. I said I dont care about it anymore. Its like the Russian guy once said.... if he dies, he dies.

Correct BUT it's not really Parsons, The only thing Parsons has is control over his agent this particular agent and Jerry don't get along but don't be just saying Jerry ,no this has every bit to do with the agent, and Jerry it's their 2 EGOS that are putting Parsons in the middle...

Jerrty deals with hundreds on Top Of hundreds of agents and lawyers since 1989 in the NFL and his other businesses,

this is not new, he can deal with agents, even if he doesn't like some of them, he deals with them, all these deals have always gotten done but this particular agent Jerry hates him ,he doesn't want to deal with him, But that ain't all Jerry's fault, this agent is also has ego issues and their egos are clashing right now...


So right now the only thing Parsons has control of is they either tell his agent to back off some and let's get to the table and make something happen or fire his agent and get a new agent..

i'm not saying don't have an agent ,why don't you go get an agent that one of your other teammates have used to get their big deals here and get them and I guarantee a deal is done in 48 hours...

This same agent was fired from Tee Higgins last year.... he got his deal done shortly after.

Because sometimes when you're being interviewed and you're on the spot and you're talking as far as Jerry goes it just comes out Michael it's a faux pine your brain it's like subconscious the word Michael is much easier to say than Micah which by the way and talk to text a lot of times when I say Micahs correctly it says Michael..

You never had a blurb like a speech faux pas when you're talking especially when you're doing something in front of a big crowd and you're going through something you felt like you either practice or it could have been off the cuff and you make a mistake it's easy that he's not trying to demean the guy michael just came out a couple times and some of those same interviews later on he said micah..

People making a big deal out of that just act like they're perfect I mean you've never had a problem and said something and it came out wrong or you misspoke got tongue twisted... well we bow down to the master who never makes mistakes....

I picked up on Jerry calling him Michael, just like Parcess used to call TO "The player."

I think it is funny, so for me,he will forever be known as Michael.

Perhaps we should have a discussion on whether we believe Parsons is one of the top edge rushers in the league.

Cause if you believe he’s is then you pay the man what top edge rushers are making.

If not you move on and get as much as you can for him. That’s what good teams do.

I agree but I would alter the discussion a little bit. Is Parsons one of the best defensive players in the league, or is he one of the best defensive players of all time because he’s about to be paid a record salary for defensive players.

I feel Micah is the best pass rusher in the league. But he’s not the best defensive end in the league because of his play against the run.

I mean it's easy to know that Jerry deals with agents he has to deal with agents legally he deals with every agent at the end when it's necessary they are lawyers they oversee the witnessing and signing of the contracts before they're done maybe not the beginning jerry does it old school but yes Jerry does deal with Asians so he's had to deal with agents already this offseason you're trying to tell me that OSA doesn't have an agent? Did he not extend Ferguson did Ferguson not have an agent I mean people act like Jerry doesn't deal with agents now Jerry just doesn't like this particular agent he even might have a problem with other agents but not to this point he absolutely hates this guy...

That said maybe one of Parsons peers his buddies on the team can say hey why don't you talk to my agent i've already got a deal done You know how about the one who's got the most deals done and have taken Jerry to the cleaners why don't you go switch to prescott's agent lol Could trigger Jerry pretty well as far as going uh 0 But at the same time they got their deals done without any true drama the social media stuff prescott never held out never missed a practice played on the franchise tag got hurt and still got his money and took Jerry to the cleaners with the franchise tag clauses and the no trade clauses so that'd be the guy I'd want...

Prescott was never advised to do any of this ,He was happy to play on a franchise tag ,which is also like a 5th year option ,it's a fully guaranteed deal, so not every agent is going to ask you to go to this extreme to try to get paid, It was at every OTA every practice went about business didn't use social media didn't demand a trade.... I mean yeah Prescott still had to wait to get paid, but he didn't do any of this process that Parsons has went through....

So maybe that needs to happen, or it'll happen anyway II don't know but I have to wonder is Parsons willing to do that at this point or is he so mad at Jerry that he now wants David and jerry to just keep battling....

Jerry has intentionally been a jerk about this since March or April when he condescendingly couldn’t remember the agent’s name. Everything Jerry has been doing has been intentional.

Oh it's not first of all Jerryd kind of old and he has a very thick Texas accent I'm telling you it's accidental... You can choose to see the negative say it was intentional and I'm telling you it isn't now prove it neither one of us can prove it but I know sometimes that happens it's easy just like a lot of times people are talking about Demarcus Ware But no they actually meant Demarcus Lawrence they both start with Demarcus and the first person that comes out of your mouth is Ware

It is why I usually just refer to him as tank because I didn't want to get him mixed up Lot of times when I'm talking about him I would make that mistake all the time...

Look think how you want but I'm telling you sometimes people have Momentary lapse of concentration you have blurbs speech when you're giving one Sometimes you have a faux pas especially if the names actually sound the same..

I agree with this 100%. If you think you are having a Mexican stand off with one Jerry Jones. We have rarely seen Jerry dig his heels in like this. LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAN SAID on Irvin's show. He tells you EXACTLY what is happening and where the team is at. He literally said he had a deal and that deal, as far as the Dallas Cowboys are concerned is done.

People in here always bash Jerry, but listen to what comes out of his mouth and stop trying to explain what he does. He made it very clear where this is at. I think Jerry definitely is pissed, and a guy worth about 15-20 billion dollars doesnt give one damn about anything when he gets like this.
