You think a team wins a SB with just rookies and 4 year players? No team in NFL history has done that.
Oh the role players are just as important guys on special teams the backups like you're built because of the 10 players that make the most money, you really have to do well with the role players ,by the way Prescott is going into Year 10, so he doesn't qualify as either one of those... Just saying, but yes, it's very important to build your team with your role players your glue players. Think they have pretty good depth this year we just have to see it on the field everything will play out and then we'll have to talk about it after the season.

Trade him and get just returns is all any of us could ask. When Micah said he didn't want to be a Dallas Cowboy anymore it resonated on me. Until then I was all in on the hype train for Micah. Get him to a bottom dweller in the AFC and let him fly.

Yall sure do love making the players the bad guy. When the real problem should've fired himself 30 years ago.
who said Michael was the bad guy? I didnt... I just said I dont care anymore, and Id prefer to not see him on the sideline pouting.

The day Jerry signed Dak to his extension, everyone saw this coming. Eventually he will overpay Micah, and the salary cap will essentially hamstring the team for years as far as providing any meaningful depth for us.

I agree but I would alter the discussion a little bit. Is Parsons one of the best defensive players in the league, or is he one of the best defensive players of all time because he’s about to be paid a record salary for defensive players.

I feel Micah is the best pass rusher in the league. But he’s not the best defensive end in the league because of his play against the run.
But we shouldn’t be so overwhelmed with being highest paid defensive player. Cause we know Market Price goes up every year with Cap increase.

Perhaps we should have a discussion on whether we believe Parsons is one of the top edge rushers in the league.

Cause if you believe he’s is then you pay the man what top edge rushers are making.

If not you move on and get as much as you can for him. That’s what good teams do.
I havent seen the agent come out and say Jerry was lying about the amount. Jerry said he would have been given the most guaranteed money in the history of the league for non qbs. He then said if you saw what Michael was offered, there would be little doubt about how badly he wants the player on the team. Nw it is beinf reported Jerry offered Michael a 5 year 203.5 million dollar deal with 147.5 million guaranteed and the player turned it down. Welcome to playing this year and then next on the franchise tag buddy. Now please, all of you tell me how this is Jerry's fault.

you didnt need to respond to it, or even read it. I certainly didnt force you to.
He has little Micha's jersey in his avatar, so anything you say about the brat baby will hurt his feelings. Micah, Michael, Punk Brat...call the spoiled kid anything you want.

just reported the deal was 5 years, 203.5 million, 147 million guaranteed. Making Parsons the highest paid non qb in the history of pro football. So what now?

Against my better judgment, I watched. I knew the series would be awesome, while cautiously being aware that it only exists to inflate Jerry's already mammoth hubris.

Was a bit of an emotional watch for me. I react emotionally to greatness, and there is just so much greatness on that docuseries.

Loved the deep, introspective look at Irvin and I really revisited the pain of watching each of the triplets retire individually. Especially the bit where Emmitt is discussing his first visit to Texas Stadium as a Cardinal and how out of place he felt in the visitor's locker room. I also have a new found respect for Switzer. He was completely installed to fail, and he somehow didn't run that train completely off the tracks.

You can tell all these years later that Troy is still absolutely incensed by the Jimmy/Jerry divorce. The line "Jerry was learning on the job on my time" made me feel for #8.

I really wish there would have been more coverage on the last 30 years, since that too will be a huge part of Jerry's legacy once he is dead and gone. But in the grand scheme of things, the last 30 years wouldn't really make for great television. Not a whole lot of gambling, risks, and calculated moves to make the team better during this current Hell that we're in.

But if that’s your stance , why not trade him now . Unless you believe his trade value will be higher then.
I think the window to trade him this year has already passed. Trading a player now for next years or later picks does us no good this season.

Tag/trade him in the off season, every team would have an option if interested. Create a bidding war.

If you don't get the value you need. He can play another year.

Unless if he gets hurt or has a bad year his trade value goes down.

Just more poor mgmt if we saw an impasse coming. Should have traded him before the draft .

Then you trade him to a team that does believe he’s worth it. Its really that simple.

But I don’t believe, at least from what we’ve heard thus far, that’s the case.
Why havent the Bengals traded Hendrickson then? Why hasnt Washington traded Terry?

Micah's Agent is not saying much. Only that he did not say a bad word.

Micah is about to FAFO?

So will his new contract with another team.

Micah has more to lose than Jerry.
