TJ Watt, Bosa, Myles Garrett, Crosby.... all are as good as the player in question.... if thats the case, and there are 4 or 5 other guys as good as him TODAY. He cant be a generational talent.

I’m going to leave it to those who have greater expertise in evaluation of talent than us.

I’m thinking they perhaps see Micah as potentially even a greater raw talent who probably hasn’t met his potential yet.

If you have some data dispelling he’s not then I’d love to see it. All I’ve seen or heard is he is.

Regardless even if he’s just in the same neighborhood as those you listed be worthy of contract.

And I think there can be several generational players at a position at a time. Which means their level of talent doesn’t come around very often.

Last time we’ve arguably had an Edge Rusher this talented was Ware.

Exactly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and not be attacked over it. I just wish this was resolved by now. If Dallas wanted to move on from Micah the draft would have been an ideal time to do it. Might have gotten a ransom. They still might, of course.

I think it has less to do with "not caring" about Micah and more to do with fatigue over the entire situation.

Every day it's Micah did this, Jerry said that, his agent said this. Enough already.

We are supposed to be thinking about roster cutdowns now and the opener at Philly and every day it's a steady stream of the same crap. I am at the point I want to take Micah, his agent, Jerry, and Stephen and send them up on a space rocket and not let them return until they get the contract or a trade done.

Bottomline is if we ( Cowboys FO) believe that Parsons is in that top category of edge rushers then he should be paid Market Price.

If we can’t afford him then trade him. The rest is just posturing to spin personal agendas.

If we have insider intelligence that he isn’t considered one of the premiere edge rushers in the league I’d love to see or hear it.
