The myth that just will not die.

Dak turned down two offers that would have made him the second highest paid QB in history. Both very acceptable offers. One made the minute league rules allowed negotiations with a player on a rookie contract and the other the following season before Dak chose to sign the tag.

Not using the non-exclusive tag on Dak to let the league determine the market for him was one of Jerry's biggest blunders.
Dak played the major greed game. I don't know him personally, but he sure did act like a poor excuse for a human in this instance.

The we've kept it vanilla" excuse is the lamest thing ever in the preseason

It's like he's saying EVERYONE has been pulling out all the stops in the PS games, and ONLY the Cowboys are running vanilla plays.

The defenses that are wrecking you are also playing backups and running vanilla plays.

Well, there is some decent strategery being employed by Schotty. The first game of the season is your best chance to surprise the opponent; the only problem is that Philthy steamrolls their opponents with their superiority in the trenches, and their play selection doesn't need to be elaborate or risky. When you're getting punked in the trenches, though, you have to make riskier play calls. The odds ain't with you!

That’s not what he said lol. If he says they kept it vanilla that means exactly that lol. Everyone is vanilla lol.
