Kyle McCord's NFL draft profile describes him as an accurate, intelligent pocket passer with excellent ball placement and anticipation, particularly in the short-to-intermediate game, but with average arm strength and limited athleticism. His strengths include quick-release efficiency and a "gunslinger's mentality" to attack all areas of the field, while his weaknesses are inconsistency under pressure, tendencies to lock onto primary reads, and below-average mobility. He is projected as a potential quality backup or a starter in the right system and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles.

At least he can throw the football, unlike Milton.

Funny how you can be so into the draft and then just completely erase players from your memory. I'm trying, but I don't remember much about this player.

McCord was the guy with the noodle arm?
No!!!

If they signed Sam Howell and released this guy, that should be all you need to know.
Well, this is true, but maybe they wanted a guy with more experience. I mean, unlike Dak, Hurts isn't going anywhere soon. Keep in mind, they are the defending Super Bowl champs

McKee is their backup. He unfortunately is injured and will miss a few weeks

They likely opted for Howell in case hurts goes down week 1-4

I watched two of the Eagles games with McCord. Good arm but needs a lot of work with processing at the NFL level. Could be back on the practice squad for them.

Is that word foreign to you? If Dak cared more about winning than money he would have taken a pay cut to help build a better roster around him but instead he was greedy and tried to justify being the highest paid player of all time in the name of “brotherhood”. Lol, what a joke.
Well I mean if he cared more about winning he wouldn’t be a Dallas Cowboys now would he? It’s his job to be GM and structure contracts too huh?

Is that word foreign to me…damn nut….

This is hard to believe, but I'd rather have Milton. McCord and Milton are both crap, but at least Milton is our crap.

https://insidethestar.com/cowboys-secondary-pass-rush-a-surprise-2025-powerhouse

The Dallas Cowboys’ secondary was inconsistent in 2024, ranking 17th in pass defense (218.1 yards per game allowed) and giving up too many explosive plays downfield.

Their struggles in coverage cost them in critical moments, even with one of the league’s most talented pass rushes. But 2025 may finally be the turning point.

With Trevon Diggs, Kaiir Elam, DaRon Bland, and rookie Shavon Revel Jr., Dallas is shaping a secondary that could be both deep and dangerous.

Paired with Micah Parsons and a front that finished 3rd in the NFL in sacks (52), the Cowboys have the makings of a surprise top defense.

Great. You've been to championships. I've been to our last three Superbowls. Yes we as fans go and support our team if and when we are able to. That's a beautiful thing.

But im not going to go around and call a man a different name than his parents gave him like im some twelve year old. But whatever rows ya boat my guy.

With that said, it still would be dumb to get rid of the best player on our team.
Tyler Smith is the best player on our team.

Now no one should have a problem seeing this group of linebackers when all healthy, will be a very hard connection between that secondary and defensive line.

If you don’t understand the meaning and origin of calling someone out of their name you should do a quick google search.

You and others could be doing it just to have a laugh, like calling Jerry “booger”, but the two are quite different. There’s more to it and the fact that Jerry did it three times in a week and was corrected in the moment twice, tells me it was intentional.

Once you do that, if you continue to do it, we’ll just assume you are trying to be slick with the nastiness of the insult. But! It’s quite possible your frame of reference and experience didn’t ever make you aware of the ill intent. I hope that’s the case, I really do!

But you’ve carried on with it and made a point of doing it so I’m concerned.

But, do as you like. I’ve made the attempt
I think you're taking the Michael thingie way too seriously.

Whose better, McCord or Milton????
IMO, McCord, but there are arguments to be made. They are almost impossible to compare because they are polar opposites. McCord is the heady type w/ limited arm strength, Milton is the athletic type w/ a cannon but limited D reading ability. So, it most likely depends on exactly what you want from your backup. Milton can make every throw, but is limited. McCord can read any D but is limited. That's why both are backup types.

McCord is Cooper Rush, Milton is Jacoby Brissett.
