I’d have to watch the play again because I don’t remember that. But it was a clear PI on Anthony hitchens and the fact that the refs threw the flag and then picked it up was crazy. If it had happened against us we would have a million threads complaining about it (and rightfully so)

Also not to mention on the cowboys game winning drive where Zach Martin got away with a clear hold on Suh that was not called.

I’m not saying that we don’t get shafted by the refs in general but there’s no way the cowboys get those favorable calls in that playoff game if the league was actively against the cowboys.

When you watch it, you will see. The PI was caused by the TE pulling his facemask and he was trying to knock his hands off. Now, there was a hold by Hitch earlier in the play that wasn't called. But the reality is, if the play was called correctly, it would have been off setting and re played.

I believe the waiver wire closed at 12:00 noon, today.
I have not seen anything on our players being claimed or us claiming any players.
Nor much about any NFL team, but I have not looked yet either.

So we should start seeing what players we bring back to the PS soon, as well from any other teams, if there are players we like. Or our players going to other teams.

Looks like they picked up two defensive backs off the wire I guess I'll look if it's being discussed are they any good? When will the practice squad be put together probably by tomorrow

I agree Dallas could use a young CB over a DT right now because Booth is the 60th best player on the roster.

They claimed two defensive backs not too long ago off the waiver wire so I don't know where to discuss it but let's go find it...

One thing that was clear during the documentary, which didn't really offer any new insight, was Jimmy built the football team. That is why Dallas has not won anything for the past 30 years.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty obvious too. Jerry really had almost nothing to say about how the football teams were actually constructed because he has no idea how. It was pretty clear that he was insistent on claiming at least half of the credit for building the team though which is pretty absurd. You never see Jimmy trying to claim responsibility for the business successes Jerry achieved.

I thought the documentary was generally very well done though.

Miles Sanders is basically 2024 Zeke Elliott ... washed up. I have no clue why they manufactured an injury for Mafah just in order to keep Sanders around. Williams, Blue and Mafah actually wouldn't be a bad RB room, considering what they had to work with in the preseason.

It would be shocking that Holden made it through waivers with the kind of blowback we got about releasing him and how stupid we were the Cowboys were lol you think we just let go of Irvin or something..

Some of it is, but way too much jerry stuff. That crap keeps it from being great.

Uh, it's about JERRY. It's called The Gambler and His Cowboys. It's his story.

Michael is probably the other person focused on the most. And, love him or hate him, Michael's personality (which started in Miami with Jimmy) was the heart of those Superbowl-winning teams. People forget how good Irvin was.

And also, the Cowboys were so good because they were good at the fundamentals. They could run the ball (and only had like 3 running plays, and some went left, some went right), and they could get Michael open on slants and deep posts. Michael mostly ran 2 routes. Teams KNEW WHAT WAS COMING by formation oftentimes, and just couldn't stop it. Superior players, who were determined to be great, and made few mistakes & penalties (that's coaching).

The defenses were intermittently good, not often great....but they had great pass rush. So the Cowboys' offense often made those defenses look a bit better than they were...

Actually I think they manufactured the Mafah thing to keep a player around at another position. Sanders probably gets 4 weeks to show he has something, or else the Cowboys will cut him to either bring back Mafah or to make room for Mingo at WR, who is on recallable IR too.

Team was unwatchable with Rush at QB. Teams realized he could not throw outside the numbers with any zip so they played him that way. his passes took forever to get to the hash marks you could use OL as coverguys
