OR, a good chance they could be top 10 like they were with Dan Quinn,

the Dan Quinn have a great defensive line here, They still made it work, I don't believe they had anything fantastic over there in Washington either and he made it to the championship game building a defensive line very similar to this..

I know it's a little different ,but we can stick with what Dan Quinn did here did he have a dynamic nose tackle because everybody else seems improved the linebackers, the safeties are deep, the defensive ends are deep ,like the pass rush, we still have Osa we added Thomas and Winfrey,

I mean I don't see where you're coming with this stuff...

Yes, nose tackle middle of the defense I don't know how it's going to work out but who knows Toia/Winfrey could help


maybe you worry a little bit early on with the defensive backs because there's so many corners hurt, but they're all coming back Trayvon Diggs is ahead of schedule ,I mean come on with all the doom and gloom, it could go either way..

So I agree maybe it'll be in the bottom ten or maybe it'll be in the top 10 we don't know squat until they play as a group with defensive game plans and schemes that you would hope your defensive coordinator can cover up some of your warts...​

Its just a bad roster assembled without any plan.

You are trying to read too much of a plan into it.

Ok sure. The entire Cowboys coaching staff and scouting department just put zero thought into this roster and cut 30 players yesterday without a plan. Maybe they threw darts at names on the wall or drew little pieces of paper out of a hat.

I am rooting for Childress. But once Diggs returns (be it week one, two or three) I think he and Elam will be the outside corners and Bland goes back to the slot.

Hopefully this kid can hold up until then.

Possibly or they can move Goodwin or Godwin whatever his name is on to the practice squad like he always is and then he gets brought back but in this case maybe he doesn't play the 1st week or two, Then they can cut one of these guys, if they don't like them but for sure Booth, I already knew he was gone... They're gonna have to play around a lot between now and game one plus the 1st 4 weeks because then when Butler and Revel get back then what..

They're going to end up going most likely from a weakness to a strength in the middle of the year here at defensive back...

He made 1.7M in the 2 years he was in Dallas. Probably 1.65M more than he would have made if he didn't have a father in the scouting department.

aside from going through the motions...did not have to excel, produce, contribute...nothing. Living large, really.

But Praxit, and prolly bigdog...think we need to feel sorry for him.

I think they really like this kid and besides the fact that he's more of a safety then he is a corner he can play nickel, he would have been temporarily playing slot, they're keeping him at least back to the PS,

I'm almost sure of it, but you can move people down to the practice squad off of your regular roster while you have to bring these guys in and keep them I don't know for how long but they'll have a few weeks while we're waiting on our starters to get back to play around with a mix of these guys but then after that they can cut them if they need to..

A lot of moving pieces right now in defensive the back room, They're going to be having to use IR and the practice squad and maneuvering around to keep within the rules and make sure you find the right players to keep..
