I would have liked to see him extended. I'm sure I'm not alone. But lets keep in mind that nobody did anything bad to Parsons. A tag would suck, but that's not the case yet. Byron Jones played through his 5th year option, and we didn't see him whining. No one is entitled to an extension.

Byron Jones was a solid corner. Micah is an all-pro, he is right to expect to be paid.

He sure looks like he's under a lot of duress when he agreed to play for the Cowboys! Poor guy! It's not just Parsons, I feel the same way about every single player that pulls this crap. Totally agree. But the decision one way or the other is usually player driven. A player wants what he's worth, and a team wants to get what they're paying for.

The NFL is a billions and billions dollars business. Why do fans get so pissed off when players want to get as much as possible before it’s all over. Because eventually you’re not going to be able to play anymore at a pro level.

I don’t give a crap how much Micah gets paid or spends. Yeah I mean we’re all technically footing the bill that the owners dole out to the players but in return we get entertainment.

Billions in advertising profits, jerseys sales, concession sales, etc.

Not like this is bankrupting the Cowboys only how much money Parsons deal takes up I. The salary cap.

You wanting the money to go to the less fortunate…that’s a different matter.

The way he has handled this is the problem.

If he really wanted to be here, why not go out there and sign up with the 2nd best agency and get this deal done? Is he not mature enough to see that Jerry does not want to deal with this 1 agent and the fix for it is by going with another?

I'm not referring to their record this year. I'm referring to getting the best return on Micah Parsons as an asset. If he tanks his value that's not good for the team.

I'm just going by memory here. But I think Watson was coming off a 34TD season with 7 picks on a 4-12 team. I could be off on the numbers a bit, but not by much. That's why they gave so much for him. Problem was, he wasn't the same player, just like the Vikings weren't the same team.

His last season in Houston, he was the top rated QB in the AFC, 2nd overall to Rodgers. Many considered him top 5.
