So I don’t feel like googling it and maybe it was rumor but wasn’t Micah pretty credibly accused of basically assault and battery under the guise of “hazing”?

Sorry if this is a bad thread but the context here matters to me bc i really don’t care about this player , I already saw Demarcus ware in orange. Emmitt in red. Witten in black. Julius jones in purple. The point is can’t we be 9-8 wild card losers all the se
Without the $200m Dennis Rodman kinda guy

I'm guessing your are mostly wrong. His draft profile was a 5th rounder.

How many players has Lance Zierlein drafted? And he was basically a 7th rounder. So Zielein was wrong about that as well. Im sure there are 100s of examples of him being wrong.

No one claimed him. Wont be on a practice squad. No one wants him now just like no one except Jethro wanted him then.

Hes done in the NFL. 3 years to late.

Low key, that's an excellent draft.

Go check out some past drafts by other teams. I don't care what teams, I don't care what time period. The median is about 2 starters in a draft class, and some spare parts. Longtime backups, guys that had 1 big season, etc.

We got two starters from the 2021 draft, and they are good ones. Osa is a plus starter, Micah is a plus-plus-plus starter on a Hall of Fame trajectory. Golston is your classic spare part type who worked his way up to becoming a good 3rd DE.

Very few teams do better than two plus starters, in any year.

If he's better than a player on the Cowboys' 53, can't they sign him off the Ravens' PS for their 53 and cut the lesser player?
Yes, unless the Ravens designate him as one of the four "protected" PS players that teams declare every Tuesday.

I just don't understand the Okoye obsession here. He was waived yesterday. 30 other teams besides the Cowboys could have put in a claim. Nobody did.

This is what the terms of the contract allow. The contract doesn't force Parsons to play football any more than it forces Dallas to keep him on the roster.
If he is not injured that contract forces him to play ball this year or forfeit his weekly salary for every game that he misses.

I agree 100% but THIS is what happens when you try and FORCE a player to play under terms he doesn't like. Sure, you as a team have the leverage but this thing is now going to an epic level of distraction for teammates, coaches and the locker room.

My point is....Parsons will get 98% blame here and rightfully so, but Jerry should have resolved this mess long ago.
Ya I don't dismiss Jerry's role at all. This should have been done already but its jerrys MO. He did it with Dak and CeeDee and hell do it with Smith next year. Hes a moron

A little surprised by Rochell, but he probably gets replaced by Childress or Booth. Thought La'el Collins might make it instead of Christian. Didn't have Cropper or Davis. Thought we'd hang on to Vaughn a little longer.
They claimed when they released him they want Vaughn back but understood if he wanted a fresh start somewhere else. I couldn't blame him with the lack of game opportunity he's been given.

So Diggs throws his teamate under the bus telling us that Micah is just flat out a liar.

No wonder Micahs back is hurting. Mine would too with all those so called teamates and friends that stab him in exactly that body part.

And now we have also found the explanation that the MRT showed nothing: Psychological problems.

I've advocated trading Parsons since before the 2024 draft. I pointed out that the time to trade a player is during his ascension- before his ceiling is known, and before injuries pop up.

I was ridiculed in 2024, but I have a LOT more company now!!!
I agree and right around that time too. It really isn’t a big deal to trade players it’s sports this coulda been a Hershel walker type rebuild thing ya know? No dak no Micah tons of picks with a young Brian schottenhimer and maybe like idk jj mcarthy starting his 2nd year

So...posting on a forum message board about a sports team...that has had very limited success and does appear dysfunctional....means they are miserable in their life?

No...hear me out. This is like 1% of their whole life (maybe)...but you just proclaimed them miserable because of it.

How does that make any sense? It does to you? An internet psychologist, eh?
Guess what? I can say and believe what i want.

Clutch your pearls more, though.

If he is not injured that contract forces him to play ball this year or forfeit his weekly salary for every game that he misses.
It is not an enforcement. The contract was an agreement. Jerry agreed to pay, Micah agreed to play.

You’re not going to believe this, guys.

But I think I like Dak more than Micah at this point.

Not as a player, of course, Dak sucks, but in how they handle themselves.
I wonder if Jerry is just old and rude or is Micah literally the first active player to have beef like this with Jerry in an actual way

Meaning ….if you run into jerks all day maybe you’re the jerk

Well, Parsons can't trade himself....... who's the blame for that???? lol
Exactly. The buck stops with the gm/owner. Even if Micah's demands are somehow unreasonable (which we don't know because we have very little details), Jerry Jones should have either paid him or traded him after year 3. Now Parsons value is tanking and no one wins in that scenario.
