Uhhh, I have blasted super greedy Dak since last year when he swindled Jerry and lied about not wanting a record paid new contract. I even created a thread blasting him. I've told you this two times already. Are you forgetting buddy? Not a good sign.

I believe that we're gonna sign Parsons in good faith up to 42 mil and whenever they got one done in principle, even if it was just a handshake or general contract done in principle, It is what Parsons and Jerry agreed on and even if there were minor changes and things that needed to be added or negotiated or compromised that would have been fine but it became more than that I think the ego of the agent so angry that Jerry made a deal with his client Without him there that he decided to reject it and counter with the ridiculous amount he was asking for and Jerry wasn't having any more of it especially after the antics on the sideline the fake injuries just the body language the things said in social media even though both are at fault for that I think he grown tired of it..

Jerry's never allowed a superstar to walk so this is new territory but this has always been about money...

That's not why he left you're just making excuses for the guy and living in his head If that was the case nobody would have stayed why did Myles Garrett stay when he said he wanted to leave and win but he stayed it's always been about money I don't blame these players for getting maximum money but when it comes down to it the antics and the shady ways that they created fake injuries and all that other nonsense said it was all about money and that they were going to hold Jerry's feet to the fire and it started with the agent and the bad advice he gave to Parsons..

Steel didn't happen and the trade demand didn't happen in March in good faith both player and owner thought they were on the track for a new deal and the agent blew it up and yes his ego versus Jerry's and yes all the antics in social media they're both to blame but they pushed it this far and Jerry's never let this happen before but you act like somehow Jerry didn't have control of this he did he made the choice that no one player is bigger than the team and he did what he thought was better for the team because he wasn't going to be blackmailed and strong armed into overpaying..

Believe the agent thought he can do that because Parsons basically did that but he did it quietly there's a big difference I mean someone is loyal comes to practice plays on the franchise tag takes risks and shows loyalty by not letting you get ugly Sometimes it says walk quietly but carry a big stick well that's what Prescott did prescott is a perfect example of what you do to make ownership pay for making you wait but you do it in a professional manner.

Realize holdouts are necessary and the hold in was OK but not his body language not the things that were being said online Not the fake injury not doubling down and saying you were gonna get a 3rd MRI because you didn't like the one that said you were clean This just went too far even for jerry he had enough.

If Jerry would have paid him the same contract Green Bay offered him he would have stayed.... Just like others have already said you're on the wrong track this had nothing to do with the Super Bowl lots and lots of players stay with the teams they were drafted on for years and years and years It's happened with Barry Sanders and Megatron and I just mentioned Miles Garrett I mean look at all the players that re signed with Cincinnati it's not like they're any better than Dallas in the offseason since signing players they still haven't Put together a good enough defense to win a championship I realized they've been to a Super Bowl more recently but it's still Cincinnati but they all stay..

I mean how is Justin Jefferson feel like he has a better option in Minnesota than leaving and going to a true contender I mean you keep making excuses for these players it is about money as long as they're appeased with money and respect which usually money equals respect they usually stay with their teams they show loyalty they all stay and Jerry has signed them all except one and there's a reason for it...


Yes, Jerry can create the circus He likes the drama as stated but this went beyond that....

Both sides were stubborn and foolish, but the Parsons team overplayed their hand when they really had no leverage but to sit out games while collecting paychecks; when that wasn't going to happen and Jerry said play on the current deal, Parsons and Co. decided to take the money and run. I'll bet this agent won't play it the same way with Pickens, and if he has a good start to the season, I'll bet Jerry will try to extend him during the season. If Pickens is successful and wants to be here, he will be. The agent doesn't want another fiasco like Parsons in Dallas. Most of us never even knew what this guy looked like till now; he's been in damage control mode while Jerry has been in making chicken salad out of chicken poop mode.

That's all true, I can buy into that ,Here's the caveat to that the thing with Pickens was always going to be up in the air these are going to be the options,

Literally first option is he has to play very well he has to have a great season,

If that happens, he has to determine, does he want to go somewhere else to get more money and be the guy WR one, Because if that's the case, the Cowboys have no chance of retaining him..

Then the Cowboys need a franchise tag him, but they need to tell the agent and the player they're not doing this to try to keep him around they just want to get more back for him the only way to do that is franchise tag him and then let him seek out trades...

Or they can just let them walk and get a third-round comp pick which if you get a really great year out of them and you get your compensation back that's a win it's a break even moment..


But the other crazy thing if he loves it here and he thinks he's better off here if he'll take T Higgins money or somewhere or what between 28 and 30 million then the Cowboys might sign him for that but if he's looking for 31-36, Not sure what Terry Mclaurin got but if he's looking for that then he's looking to be a starter because that's the only way he's getting that kind of money..

He was good player and if can keep the production up he very well could be HoFer. But lets be honest most here knew the way they played him the wheels were going to come off eventually. He injured his back holding in, his play style and his size says the decline is coming.

Lol, no. Micah never wanted to leave and had no clue Dallas was playing a game to get the best trade possible for him in the end

They were tired of his nonsense. Green Bay will be, too, eventually. Micah is incredibly overrated.
