Jerry is still trying to rationalize the Micah trade

You didn’t answer my question. You’re not celebrating nothing. You’ve given up on the team forever so now you’re just here to complain. It’s the truth so deal with it.
..but that's just it. WHy live in misery, right? The guy says, "To old to change".

That's lie in itself, to satisfy his ego suggestions. He's open choose whomever, but enjoys the conduit of Dallas energy.

Thats like holding electric wire, while standing in water. *Shaking my head*

Who are you going to listen to for evaluations and analysis. ?

Cheerleaders or hacks in the booth?

Nobody. I was replying to the poster who admitted that he’s given up stating the Cowboys will never have a chance to win again.
Do you remember the time you were complaining about the Cowboys not resigning Dak saying we wouldn't have a winning season for 10+ years if we didn't?

The comment above just reminded me of it. Ah good times. Good times.

Yes.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on the Micah Parsons trade: “We’re going to be getting players in the top 30 (draft picks). We’ve got two years of getting Green Bay’s top 30 player. And that should do some damage for us. And then we add that to the picks we’re going to have anyway, and that should do some damage."

“Now, by the way, in between that time, there are 30 other teams other than the Cowboys playing without Micah, this week. There’s ways to play defense and scheme that don’t necessarily involve any player, whether it be Dion Sanders, looking way back, or who it is, a lot of people won a lot of games and didn’t have Dion Sanders on the field for them. How’d that happen?"

“That’s called, you got to have about, minimum, 40-something players to play this game. Between being available with a nick or an injury, plus at the same time, just availability from the numbers of snaps in a game. You can’t go out there and rush the passer for 60 plays a game at all.

“My point is, all of this weighs into the consideration, and it was so much thought out over the last months that we needed an opportunity to see if our trade was there.”

After 2 games this season with the Packers, Parsons has 1.5 sacks accumulated. That's the same he had last year on an abysmal 7-10 Cowboys team to start the 2024 season.

Why would Jerry have to clarify any dumb Parsons deal? Jerry and the Cowboys got the better end of the deal, and it's going to get proven for years to come starting this year.

But the Packers have a better pass rush and defense with him. His presence is having an impact.

Much like with Cowboys, we had best pass rush with him and worst without him . Individual stats don’t always tell the entire story.

And the jury is still out on where we will make out on trade or not. I’d say early on it looks like Packers are looking good.

We had the best pass rush with Micah in the entire NFL?

Exactly!! This game is won by 22 players not one. Micah got a half sack yesterday so not sure why all the remorse all of a sudden. We haven't been able to stop the run in years. Love to see a change there. Last night I saw a Green Bay offense executing and a Commodes offense that wasn't. Micah didn't win that game.
That’s half a sack more than the entire Cowboys team has this year.

Exactly. I wonder why Cleveland Browns fans continue to root on their team? They have no chance. I guess according to Rocky you have to live in a fantasy world to be a fan.
The difference is they don’t state like YOU DID that they’ve given up on the Browns ever winning. Don’t try and spin what you said. It’s in black and white.
