Jerry is still trying to rationalize the Micah trade

No I won’t. Even if the Cowboys win the next Super Bowl and Jerry wants the credit it only means he deserves the credit for decades of crapping all over the team. You wouldn’t bet a nickel on the Cowboys’ chances of winning the next Super Bowl and there is no one you can name more responsible for the 30 year drought of not even getting close to one. He’s not qualified to be an NFL general manager. Everyone knows it, including you, and everyone has known “it all along”.

Do you ever go on Browns websites? How do you know what they think? And I speak the truth. Sorry you live in a fantasy world. I'm waiting for you to say I told you so because that's never happened and it won't happen as long as Jerry's in Charge. I was 30 years old the last time the Cowboys competed for anything important but I'm supposed to think that of all the coaches in existence that Schotty can overcome Jerry and change the culture. We played well in Philly but we still didn't win. Don't see what's changed. We've done that plenty of times.

It didn't look bad against the Eagles. Hurts didn't have all day in the pocket. Besides that, at this point in time I would not pay any non QB 47M a year. Especially when they aren't a game changer. As good as he is, he's not the difference in us winning and losing big games. We can beat teams like the Giants and Panthers with or without him.
 
Its not like bottom 5 draft picks are likely to bust or anything, right?

Jerry will not get more talent out of two bottom round picks than Micah Parsons. But I am willing to wait and see.
 
To be fair- Micah Parsons was on the field and played the whole game with the rest of the “hotboyz” when Green Bay shellacked us. So,… he wasn’t the sole reason we lost.
That being said- Jerry needs to take accountability for the fact that now Micah is able to thrive on a defense that TBH has better players.

But that’s not ultimately the goal just beating teams we should beat.

The goal is trying to make every team in the league a team we should beat. Our pass rush was never good enough when it needed to be.

Correct and to add, Parsons asked Jerry to surround him with better players so he could be more effective and be protected better from injury. What does Jerry do? He keeps dipping from the Walmart bottom barrel bin and making excuses for himself not managing the cap better as a reason for not adding high quality players. If he had gone all in, like the Rams did the year they won, after the 49er loss in FA/trades/draft, a SB appearance could have been possible. However, what does the FO do? They go backwards like they were punishing the team by doing the minimal. It's so moronic but hey, the team's evaluation has increased - Jerry's true SB victory.
