I have been impressed of late by Dak's toughness and the way he is staring down defenders.
Two games in, Dak seems more accurate and more in command.

Yet me lords ...

I have images of good and bad.
He of late is threading a needed 1st down to Fergie and nice throws to Pickens, Lamb and Tolbert.

Then there is a sack, a fumble and hurries albeit all in a win.

How do you good lads and lassies see our iconic and divisive QB?

Dak is no Patrick Mahomes….period.
That said, Mahomes is not Mahomes when he doesn’t have a good OL, and he is not Mahomes without legit receivers. All QBs throw bad passes, fumble, get sacked, have good games and bad games. No matter who the QB is, he needs a strong supporting cast, and even then playing QB in the NFL is hard.

So why would I hold Dak Prescott, an above average franchise QBto a higher standard than Brady (the past goat) or Mahomes (the current goat).

Because Dak works for us, not elsewhere, and mahomes and or Brady are of other teams and times.

I’m excited with how he’s played the first 2 games. These first 2 games have been better than all of his games last year. You’ll have to define “warming up”. Do I support him? Definitely. Is he playing good to great this season: 100%. I feel he’s playing as well as 2023. I am looking forward to see how he plays against non division teams.

He's a very good NFL starting QB who would be a borderline HOF player if he somehow wins a Super Bowl.

He has nothing left to prove in the regular season. MVP runner-up just 2 years ago.

He choked like a dog in his last playoff game. 2-5 playoff record isn't good.

It is what it is. We don't have SB talent around him now anyways.

You can draft the next "franchise QB" in the 1st Round and they can still be mediocre garbage.

See Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, Michael Penix Jr. and JJ McCarthy. Dak's better than all of them until proven otherwise.

"Draft his replacement" means "let's suck until we eventually get lucky again in finding another good QB."

We will have the same scenario if we ever make the play offs because he's going to have to score at will because no way we'll be able to stop anyone on defense from what I've seen over the past two games. You can't have missing links when you're shooting for titles, and our missing link right now is the defense. We MUST get that under control and thank goodness it's earlier enough to get on track.

The Giants defense isn't "bottom feeding," they have a great pass rush and held Washington to 21 points just last week (despite the Giants offense doing nothing to help the cause).
